Personally what I do is when it's part dry chop it up with a knife. Flatten it out and then chop chop chop as if it's 1984 and you have some of the finest uncut Bolivian paste lol.

I do that a few times as it gets drier and end up with a nice little pile of "powder".

Ok that's an idea, I rarely smoke it because of the hassle to make a joint of it, it starts out hard and breaking in powder, but with the slightest amount of heat, it becomes like tar, impossible to manage, like it's made by ACME and I'm the wile coyote.
I got to the point I would stretch out a bit of it to make a string and just glue it to the outside of a rolled joint.
And it's bye bye for a wile....

Haha yeah I know it's a right pain in the arse to try and use warm mate. No chance basically!

Try the chopping thing. It definitely works and you'll end up with easily manageable product that is a joy to use and lovely to smoke, if bloody strong lol!

i find removing as much moisture as possible right away, makes it much easier to get to the dry granular form, and not a sticky ball of goo

I do this by using a tea towel and a 25 micron pressing screen..

i fold over the pressing screen and towel and press a few times ... then u will have almost dry harvest ... easy to cut like @hippy71 so elegantly put it :smoking:

I put the gloves in the freezer and it should be easier to remove it in a bit.
And I think maybe putting these lumps in the freezer as well for a bit before breaking it to powder.

Good luck breaking those lumps to powder mate! I think it may be too late. The trichs have all burst and released their oil, hence the gooey lump? I think

I have a feeling your right, there is a mix of both states of powder and oil.
I'm just gonna pull strings from the lump and stick them on the outside of joints.
My own version of a speedball, weed inside and hash in the outside.
Let the passing out begin....

If you freeze a little bit you should be able to pick or chip bits off for a joint as well mate.
