Somewhere warm, middle of nowhere, no neighbours and lots of countryside and furry little animals

Warm is a relative term. There are bits of the UK which are warmer than here, for example. But it's fair to say the further south you go the more sunshine you should get.

Glad my experience is proving useful to more than myself. I'd consider getting your skates on if you want somewhere like Spain, now Article 50 is triggered. Who knows whether we'd be able to buy property safely in 2 years time? And try renting first!

I thought we would eat outside a lot more, but we didn't. We had drinkies outside a few times but didn't have a table the right height to eat at - although that was down to what furniture we got with the flat. Our friends often barbecue outside from now through until October, most years, after work. Everyone's different!
