New Grower Grow #2 - The education continues

Day 56 or 8 weeks from sprout. From a visual standpoint the 3 BOG is about the same height so it definitely has stretched as much as she is gonna. So if she performs ideally I can harvest her in about 2 weeks. The biggest thing that has changed is the smell is coming through much better now and the pistils are turning brown. BUT! I learned my lesson on my first grow and harvested too early, so I will let her tell me when she really is ready this time, but she sure is plugging along pretty fast and her nuggets are freakin dense and getting bigger. I think I’m definitely doing better this time and the plants look much better at this stage, so I’ll just keep on doing what I’m doing and following the feeding schedule. I had been running my nutes at about 25% recommended and bumped them up to 50% now that they are feeding pretty hungry. If I see anything look like it didn’t like the bump, then I will adjust again.

One more week in the books for these 2. Now at 63 days from sprout and about 4.5 weeks into flower. Both are chugging along and now just waiting for the trichs to start clouding up more. They must be getting close as the cola leaves are looking like they are starting to yellow a little bit. All in all, I’m really happy with the way these are growing. The one thing I am noticing with these vs the first grow is the Ventilation and filter are not quite getting rid of all the smell, but Im not complainino.

It’s been almost 2 weeks since my last post and now arrived at day 76. Both plants seem to be pretty much done. They both are showing mostly cloudy trachomes and the 3BOG even is showing a few ambers. The 3BOG is definitely the better performer and I think will be the better all around. I’m not really sure what happened with the Zkittlez, but I’m going to chop her in a day or 2. Both have also really slowed down the water intake. I’ll give the 3BOG another couple days at least to see if she matures any more.

That thing has it's own 1,000 watt light? How far away is the light and that's awesome.

Okay, I re skimmed the journal, there are a few plants in there. Looks great, should be some nice smoke for sure

I decided today to chop the 3BOG At exactly 80 days. She was right about perfect for what I was looking for with her trichs. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pics. I had to setup a cardboard box drying cabinet with ductwork connecting to my grow tent and it was much more difficult than using the grow tent, but I still have the other plant in it.

Really impressed with what I got. The main cola was huge (about the size of a Red Bull can) and super dense! The other great thing was I wound up only 3 small popcorn Buds. The rest were just nice fat Dense Buds like the main one just a little smaller.

The final dry weights are in. I wound up harvesting the Zkittlez 2 days after the 3BOG. i hung both for 5 days and both are now in the jars for curing. I wound up with almost the same from each plant (41.1 grams for the 3BOG and 43. Grams for Zkittlez). I usually don’t want to try it before it is fully cured, but I had to try the 3BOG and it was fantastic. Nice easy but uplifting high. Exactly what I was looking for.
Now I have tear everything down and pack it all up to get ready for a move. Hopefully by spring I will be ready for. My next grow.
