Dutch Passion Green Ops 2013 - Fresian Dew

Looks like they are soaking up whatever limited sun they can get, always interesting how we take so much of the knowledge we accumulate for granted, but those little mistakes are great learning tools. Grow on maffro, looking great in the sun!!!

Well the fresians are showing signs of flowering, from what i remember from last year the "kink" y plants are the quicker purple pheno that produce a canopy of buds rather than the x mas tree type

The end tips seem to kink to one side ! Anyone else notice this ?

All plants producing some decent leafes now, another month of insect wars then we'll see whats left. Will also have to move one as they are geting too bushy !

Thanx Grownbitch !
Went and applied some bonDage to the littler fresian today and also put the little one out (put in to soak 14th june) she tipped over during the journey, my fault tried to set a good time for a complete watering in hot weather and slipped over ! Will check on the weekend and see if she recovers fingers crossed

Cloche grown fresians and the new girl - a little fragile right now. Lst'd the tall ones to help out the branching, dont know what these will yield but the cloches seem better for phots rather than autos.

Runty coming along nicely, tied the stem back a few weeks ago then today i tied 3 branches foreward. this spot get loads more sun so will be cool to see the difference in yields compared to the other 4 bigger ones inthe other valley.
This spot is 3 times further though and keeping this lot fed is a mission.

Hi maffro

It seems that one of my plants also started to flower.
When did you harvest your earliest phenos last year??

if this northern european summer actually keeps going this could be a good year for the Frisians, I wonder how tall your early ones will get ?

I'm in central EU and have mine in about 50l pots, topped at 4th node.
They were grown under LED from April when I put to germ to 1st of May when they were planted out.
Two main colas are about 180 cm tall and need support.

One has already started to flower and I don't know if this is normal

Eeeeerm last year and the one before think it was 1st week of October Mofo, think the bushier pheno is the quickest, all mine have pre flower calyxs, this happened last year too with bad weather in June then re grew through to aug\sept. Think the biggest of mine is around 6 ft, they are in bags though and i would love to do one in the ground someday,, thinking of doing a raised bed at this spot its just getting the materiels up there thats the problem.

A couple of pics for ya, cant really take pictures here as the best shots give away the position ! All plants nearing 7 ft now and seem too big for the bags, all wilting and some seem to be leaning over too !! ? Will try topping next year to keep em smaller or try in the ground ! Hey Mofo wheres your thread at ??
Gave them each 3 litres of straight river water
