good luck Maffro. If in doubt give the Frisians a little bit extra time indoors to make sure the chance of a last frost has passed. 'When' to plant out is always the difficult question for the outdoor growers.
So they have been out nearly a week and they are still alive ! One grow bag has an ants nest in it so it will be interesting to see how long that one lasts (its the one closest to the camera) other than that it all seems goodygood
I think 2 of them had 3 weeks and the other 2 had 4 weeks then both where in a bay window which had glass missing ! So lots of wind and lowish temps to acclimatise them. Gales and rain today - nice
Was in the area so i thought id check in, still alive ! May water and feed them tomorrow, we'll see how stressfull the mission is to get superstinky out !
Well a week of rain and gales and one has been especially "Battered" but they have grown. I did put some Mycrozhie (?) half way down the bags and they could have hit that ? I dont remember a growth spurt like this last year or the year before ! Ive lst them to each other ! and also had to put some rocks down for support
Showing sex, but they did this last year then reverted and flowered again. Put another bean into soak this week due to having more space in the grow box, will see how they compare at the end.
Well the fresian that i gave to a friend is alive and doing well, i also gave him the other fresian seeds which he sprouted under a cloche and 2 made it they are in 3 gallon buckets which he didnt put holes in !! I didnt mention it so im to blame too i suppose !
Ive germinated another fresian dew been this week too, lets see how she does with around 100 days - will be interesting to see how long the auto takes outdoors and how they both compare.
