I like the idea of legal, here we have some bloody twisted laws about what you can and what you cannot do.. quiet neighbours are the best neighbours imho so kudos for that... keeps the neighbours very happy, I also use a filter two when its full flower, but for other reasons

At this time I can just pray to the canna-gods that the plants know that they needs to get those smaller leafs all the attention they need to grow a bit bigger to support the growth of buds.

Have you seen 420autoflowers scrog thread? https://www.autoflower.org/threads/growing-scrog.90229/page-26 his methods are extreme, but then so are his results, of course he is growing auto's which in my experience are far less forgiving than photo's, the same methods will work for photos.

I think its worth while checking out his grows.
i also think you are going to need a lot of gardening wire to support those branches when the buds start to fatten up

Checked out he’s grows and those plants are phat as hell. Those are autos and they can flower under 24H lightning and can become massive - just like he’s!

Photoperiods can become big as well but they need a bit longer veg-time or be grown outdoor in a sunny climate.

Indeed 420's plants are autos and they require a different regimen, but the training and Schwazzing/defol are on another lever, I train and schwazz but not 420's extent... all plants Photo or Auto seem to thrive on on it.

I’ll do a Autoflower or two next runt and will train them from start to see how much more they can yield against when they grow natural.
But you need to be lucky with the right pheno that are borned to be trained and have multiple tops.

Edit, I grow them naturally with a touch of training just to help them get massive - they have to look good as well and then I can’t disturb their natural grow-pattern too much

indeed, i have tried 2 auto runs, the 1st one was a learning curve of epic proportions, the second a failure, although I still have 3 plants alive and thrown out on the balcony, they have survived weeks of endless rain and temps 1-8C with the occasional pop up to around 12C... i just ordered some chems and bottles to make an STS spray, will use these 3 to produce a shit ton of seeds, and then try a SOG of 9 plants a few times until I get it right.
In the meantime the photos are starting to pick up a little, so i expect to top and start training in a week to 10 days.

looking good is all part of the pleasure of the grow, I have a big thing for Flat canopies that cover the whole horizontal plane, I like to make the most of my very small space, so training and control are a must for me, natural is great if you have the space to just 'em go for it.

i wouldnt be expecting anything to big or chunky GDP would typically have a smaller bud structure golf ball sized but hard as rocks

I think they will grow their small remaining leafs just enough to have a healthy airflow between them and be able to receive enough light the produce some weight.

Cranked up the wattage to 70-75% on the three 480w LED’s as it looks like they can handle it.

Only water and nutrients from now

Thank you for the support, Sir, i appreciate it a lot. I learned a few things during this grow. Now i can applicate that to my next grow of whatever strain that might be - some photos or a couple of autoflowers. But main thing is, i will grow weed -
I can promise you that.
I’ll update when we see some progression.
