Thanks Buddy, me to - its s good strain, slower in veg but damm, in stretch/early bloom they grow a lot. Ill update at least once a week

The girls are doing fine and I’ve added some more Co2… Rasied the nutes a bit and I don’t think they will stretch much longer, I’ve seen them slow down.

We got them on 95-120cm in height which seems like doable in a tent of normal size.

Got the lights on 55% which should be around ~790w in total. It’s pretty powerful (effective) lights so I don’t think I want to go higher than that without the risk of burning them. Got full spectrum with far red and UV-setting on.

Just a thought, if you do a serious defol, they will probably have all the space they need, with far deeper light pentration.... I know that heavy defol feels like the wrong thing to do, it feels counter intuitive, , but many growers insist it works well...

I look at defol this way, out in the wild the leafs get eaten by a gazillion animals and insects, the plants react to that with stronger growth, as the plants are now in flower that would equate to stronger flower growth with better light penetration and ventilation.

Some plants could be stressed and go hermie? Its a way of defence-technique as well, and with me not knowing how this strain reacts it’s a brave move to go full force with the risk of destroy the whole harvest by getting seeded - as these buds are intended to be smoked.

And out of some strange reason they don’t like seeds in their weed. But i will take away some leafs today as I obviously see it’s needed - and I know you wouldn’t tell, advice me to do it if it was wrong.

But what are your response to the claim about they have the possibility to go hermie if they feel too stressed?

I think it’s better to go slow and pick leafs as the the time goes by…. And not all at the same time with an unknown strain ?

I did half the tent, my conclusion is that the top-buds won’t be as big - but the lower ones might compensate for that
They definitely got the space, the defoliated side, but it feels empty….

I suggest to grow plants outdoor/indoor in a perfect climate with as much space they need as the leafs are there for a reason - to receive light.

But I also understand that if one’s gonna grow indoors in a tent some leafs have to go as you have taken the plant away from its natural habitat where it could get use of all the leafs.

Let’s see what the response is in five days or so, but they definitely have room to breathe - now they look like sticks with the beginning of white hairs.

I’m In Canada , here it’s legal. So I can do some experiments without any kind of problems, if the neighbors says anything I just explain the law for them. But there is nothing to complain about, I’m retired keeping the volume down after 7pm and I help them if they need a hand. I also use a carbon-filter out of respect.

damn, every fan... I am sure in 5 days it will be full again.... those are the best kind of stick s though...

I like the idea of legal, here we have some bloody twisted laws about what you can and what you cannot do.. quiet neighbours are the best neighbours imho so kudos for that... keeps the neighbours very happy, I also use a filter or two when its full flower, but for other reasons
