I need to find a decent fan for my tents, they tend to last a year, make noise etc. Best i'v found are a 9" fan but still only getting a year before the bearing starts to sing. Clip on's are junk in my opinion. Ideally i'd like an oscillating fan 10 or 12" in diameter that I can mount to a panel on side of tent etc.

Edit: Somehow I posted thread before I was finished. LOL..

Here's a pic of my 4x4 and the 9" fans i'm using now.. I need to replace them soon. These are mounted to a 1x and are height
adjustable.

What have you guys found that works for you?

I hang this fan in a corner of the tent - reviews say folks have run these for 5 to 10 years - those 6'' clip ons are junk.

That one doesn't move ithink...

I seem to be having difficulty with multi quote.. creme de la chem will do that to ya..

ManO'Green.. i'd love a Hurricane fan, but 16" is just too large. I wish they offered a smaller one, i have two 16" oscillating wall fans that move air in the room itself..

Kyote.. can ya share a pic how it's mounted? That's a possibility as are a few others in that link.

Smoking Frog, what are you using? I run for 9 months and shut down for summer, so i'm getting 6-9 months at best running 24/7. I'll be adding ac this spring so i'd rather not need two per tent.. twice a year. That's $100 per tent per year.

I just got back from my local ChinaMart, showed they had the fans I currently use for $4.00 each and in stock.. well, they didn't have any. Would have bought a cart full.. as they typically sell for 16+.. guess they are discontinuing. At that price i'd deal with their short lifespan.

Only been growing for 5 months but have been using cheapos forever beside woodstoves (2) so they were running 5-6 months a year and last 2-4 years in a way more dirty surrounding...
Vivosun presently in the tents and so far so good !

Can vouch for hurricane they are higher quality, but do cost more (get what you pay for)
