GoAuto and roark's fungi extravaganza "Work area" Hard hat's please!

Okay folks pics. Not all that impressive. But fruit all the same. Shoukd I pluck them or wait a minute? To incourage pinning.

you might as well wait roark.... removing them wont encourage pinning, at least not to my knowledge...

And b+. So I can't decide. Do I need to mist more often or less. I want to say less cause I ddnt for a frw days and then they fruited.

not sure if your under or over misting... can you get any macros of the substrate?

o and the reason its side pinning first is because as you can see the substrate is pulling away from the sides and in turn that is creating the perfect micro climate for pinning

Yeah I was thinking that. But is that cause the side has moisture from the sides running down or did it dry out. I figure the myco will try to fruit if it thinks its dying. Hence the thought about not misting. Plenty of moisture on the side wall of the big tubs.
I'll go check again and see what kind of up close I can get.
The verm does feel...dryish, not like from the bag, but not field capacity.

How's this?
Mycilum didn't colonize much of the casing. Considering removing some. But I won't, yet.before you ask, there is about a half in of verm on top. Tried to make it as even as possible. Did see some pins on the chetwan. I have poly fill. Maybe the tyvek is too thick for good airflow?
I'll try fanning more.

ok you have me confused... are you colonizing or fruiting at this time?

reason i ask is because after you case it you need to let it FUlLY colonize your substrate AND casing before putting it into fruiting conditions(which is when you remove the tyvek and put in poly fill and "dial in" your tub... i dont case for this reason of taking an extra week or so and heard i would get a even inset without it as long as i did my substrate level and it worked great!

no when the mycelium drys out it bruises blue i believe but i dont think you substrate is wet enough BUT im pretty sure my first fruits came from the sides of my tubs now that think about it... its just a PERFECT climate inbetween your sub and your tote wall....
