@tripaholic88 could you weigh in here with your monotub link again. Sorry, dude I tried to find, but failed.

yea @Roark that is the coco tek i used for the mono tub.. i don thav a so called tek for making a mono tub but i just took pics of the exact tub i used to pull 1/2LB of dry GT's and will explain it quick...
i got a hole saw thats approx 1.5-2" and drilled out a hole on each end like so at the "top"​

Now what you will need to do is figure out the total volume of your substrate and spawn... for simplicity lets just say im using 5gals total of spawn and substrate what i do is put 5 gallons of water in the mono tub and mark a line as you can see with the red sharpie. i then drill out 2 holes on both sides about .25-.5" above that substrate line in case of error. the key is to have these bottom holes pretty much even/SLIGHTLY above your substrate level. I then take duct tape and tape up EVERYTHING below the line(even the bottom) to prevent side pinning..

@tripaholic88 thank you very much. @Roark thank you for the link brother...I was thinking about using some square ice cream containers cause I have some I saved. I figure I would use two and stack one on top of the other. I'd rather use one big enough I can use two spawn jars in each with an equal amount of verm.
 
So, the spawn is almost done. Well, it could be used know. Had to move g he l.c In side to a cooler place. turned out great. Very vigorous. Will try to fit in coco prep tonight or sat. Probably sat night. I'll have the house to my self.
What shall I do....for fruiting chamber???? 6qt tubs....mono tubs?? Bags in tubs?? Bags in bags? 6qt tubs in mono tub? Bags in bags in tubs? Omg so many choices!
Here is my dilemma, I can't go buy more tuns to put holes in, cause I have so many f n 6qt zombie tubs.
I have been gifted 2 mono tubs. and I have bags. Where to put them and in what tek remains the mystery.
I have 4 dif strains as well.
 
I probably have enough spawn, if I mix it 50/50 with coir to get 2zombie tubs worth from each strain.
I could probably fit 2 mini tubs in one of the bigger mono tubs.
I'll get the coco coir mixed up and p.c'd sat night that way I can do the sub run sunday.
Then I could to a comparison of each strain in zombie to tub tub style.
Where to place them for fruiting.... I hate the cellar!
 
@Roark you nocced up some birdseed or something wth your LC to make your spawn correct? it is your spawn that you will be mixing in with the Coco correct? ive never done LC so i donno if you just use that an mix in the coco or what so correct me if im wrong.. but anyway i would do it all in 1 big tub. and you fruit the substrate right in the tub after mixing your spawn with your coco you tape up all your holes untill your sub is 100% colonized then you introduce fruiting conditions by taking off the tape an filling the holes with poly fill

L.c is just a faster way to noc corn or bird seed.... whatever, instead of spores. Then all steps the same.
L.c is a community of spores that have already mated. I just moved them into a cracked corn palace.
Speaking of the corn palace....there is one in the Midwest....not worth stopping for, anymore, sadly.

Where do you store your monotub while fruiting. My issues is heat and dry western air.
