GoAuto and roark's fungi extravaganza "Work area" Hard hat's please!

Glad to see some folk having fun with fungi, I'm kinda partial to PF cakes (Hippy cake recipe). Yields are smaller but minimizes spread of contam and I can get 3 flushes sometimes. I do LC sometimes if I am going to inoculate bigger grow bags. Although I have like 50+ spore prints from 6 strains (Braz, Amazonian, Cambodian, PESA, Blue Meanie, Great White Monster) and a box of syringes I mainly grow edible/medicinals like Shiitake, Maitake, Blue/White/Choc Oysters and Lion's Mane.
I use hardwood sawdust from pellets for the edibles, sometimes straw for oysters (they are aggressive decomposers). I let my back up cultures die off so I'm getting ready to place an order for some live cultures to start all over again. I usually rotate media to keep things fresh and transfer to the next media type every couple of months but I was moving/got lazy/too many hobbies and let everything go.
I would still love try P. cyanescens or azurescens but they are harder to find spores for and to grow.

WW that sounds crazy dude. I know that nausea type feeling. Well now ya kinda know your limit for now so you can discover yourself within those ranges and .. tea next time lol.
articjake, bro that's cool I wanna grow my own non-magical mushrooms too. Lions mane would be dope man, and I bet hella yummy! I love all sorts of edible mushrooms.

Guys...! Help!
Timing is not good - mushrooms are fruiting and I'm getting ready to leave for the weekend. I just picked this monster just now (it has already dumped some spores on my perlite. It was a hard one to see if it had opened or not it was right above the "ground".
How do I short term store fresh? I want to try them fresh and not dry but is there a way to keep them fresh for a week? Please help! I need to know asap so I can prep for fresh storage or start drying if I won't be able to store for a week fresh. THX and enjoy the pics!

on paper towel in covered in the fridge should buy you a few days

Thanks bro. That's what I did with that one. I went home on lunch and found this one ready. So I did this exactly, set in paper towel set in plastic container sitting in the fridge for now until I can get home. And now I've figured out my solution. My friend wants to try my first produce so he'll come take it off my hands and let me know how it is! I have 2 more that will prob be ready tomorrow night. Those I might just try to keep for 6 days in the fridge.
