GoAuto and roark's fungi extravaganza "Work area" Hard hat's please!

Yeah man I noticed some wild mushrooms just today in the yard at work. They look awesome. I'm like you, I'm certainly not experimenting with those!
These are weird looking, and huge caps that look like eggs before they open.

So I may or may not still have a syringe or 2 of spores from the fall. Auto your makin me jonez to get some going. I may just have to go have a little look see at what I have and see if I can get some l.c going. And then maybe some brown rice flour cakes a going.

Yes.....yes....that sounds good.

Hell ya roark your my mushie buddy git on it!!!!!:drunks:
That made me smile. Thanks Auto andthe title does say GOAUTO6 and Roark after all.

So I have a whole syringe of p.e and 2/3 a syringe of g.t. they are old, I know may not work, but waste not! Figure I'll make 4 qt P.e and 3 qt G.t worth of l.c. out of what I have. I may even practice making the pf cakes with the best looking l.c I have left from last year. Lmao...the stuff buried in the celar. Just to get a handle on the cake prep for when its go time. Starting hopefully tonight.

So while reading up on my coming experience it accurd to that I may have made my sub too acidic.
So I mix the casing with oyster shell with calcium carbinate. Like extra cal. Then I added pickling lime, also more calcium, calcium hydroxide. Shit I meant too alkaline. And it accurd to mt the other day that the coc bricks I had be using, in the later runs, the ones with lots of calcium, were a lot more pithy. So super moist.

Could be part of the reason they needed along time to produce a new flush. Over watering.
I'm a bt stoned.

how dose the second flush work, or whats the procedure?

Well I have done a few things. If you have overlay....take a sterile fork and give a few lite scraps. mist to replenish the water takin up by the fruit. Then back to fruiting chamber.
If no overlay....what I did .....I poured water into the tub and allowed the sub to soak up what ever distilled water it could over night. Then drain off add new vermiculite, under the bag, if you did that. Then back to fruiting chamber. Some people pull the cakes out on soak then drain and place on a drying rack. Too risky for me. The soak method worked well. You could also just mist the shit out of it to. I did that and it worked pretty well. The ones I had in bags I only misted a little and then closed um up.

Just remeber, clean clean clean. And you need to replace the water used up by the fruit.
Hope that helps Auto

On a side note, but related. I have thought about injecting the karo malt food, p.c'd of course, into the sub. Just to try. Also with clean everything. Off to find t.d's pf tek

L.c is cooling. I hope these syringes are still viable. Oh I hope I hope I hope.
