Well attempt #2 is a fail got a contamination so I'm PC-ing another 3 quarts of sub and trying another 6qrt. dub tub.
 
I've got 6 qt spawn and some sub in the wings. Debating about using it or maikn more. Well I'll need to be makin a lot more. Noc'd up 6 more jars tonight and have 6 more cooling for noc tomorrow. Going to get set up for a couple dub tub trials. Found crushed oyster shell at waly mart in the pets dept. It has calcium coral in it.its for chickens. Hope that works cause that's what I'm using.
That's where I am at......its all sinkin in now though. Thank God, cause I had way to much info mashed together.

Iv got 12 jars of Spawn just waiting soon as I get it it's on, I think I was over field capacity to wet, to wet, to wet !!!
 
That damn F.C is a killer. So I had mentioned I bought some lizard bedding bricks...they weigh 600 grams. So....if one wants to they could break of a hunk from the big blocks and boom way cheaper. More work, but cheaper.
 
So evening update. Been busy today. Mixed up 2 q sub between 3 tubs with 4-6 c sub. Their incubating. Have spawn jars knocked up and rolling along too.

I am not q'ing m.z's method just couldn't see how I was going to get all the stuff from the dub tubs in there. Maybe I'll have to adjust the size of my black bags I don't know. Lovin the poo free coc sub mix though. Its sweet an no stinky. Corn has been great to work with for spawn. But I am going to bag that shit instead of jarring. It'll be way easier to work with. Just super excited to be makin some good progress, thus far. We'll see if the tubs make it to fruiting. No peaking for 10 days.........worse then Christmas as a kid.

Damn Auto Kaya is makin me a chatty kathy.


Edit.....hey 6 I was think on the f.c. I hydrated 1 blrick of coco with 12-13 cups boiling ass water.....worked great as far as I could tell. I hate guessing. Just f.y.I
 
I made sure to squees every bit of sub this time....
 
I might have some dry sub. Let it sit over night before bagging. We'll see. Coco holds a lot of water.

Talkin to the quire bud, Im three days in and said I will not look till 6 days It's driving me up a wall, Just one peek (Slaps goauto's hand) Don't do it MAN!.........

Its just sooooooo exciting! For no other reason then just seeeng this stuff progress. Just amazing! Will I ever have the patience for herb again?
