GG does it Organic

All 3 beans are breathing the air now. We have ignition. I hit one with NEEM oil by accident, it's probly gonna die, if it doesnt recover in a day or two and is stunted it's getting replaced. Otherwise a smooth germination given the bug problem.

The gnats were a little resilient. The last week a few dozen got on my traps, and a few more dozen died by pyrethrin I sprayed on the walls and floor around the grow. One seedling damped off and the other is stunted. The replacement for the first one has not broken ground yet. I let the soil dry up some, and applied parasitic nematodes. There are no adults flying about anymore, so hopefully the beastie worms will do their job.

what a pain the ass.

The hydro seedling is doing well, it's much healthier than the soil girls, just a bit of ti[ burn where she's getting used to the PPM. The roots have not come out of the net cup yet.

Cheers!

Well damn, sorry you"re still having to battle the bugs. :nono::pass:

I found a cheap easy way to get nematodes. This came up a few days ago, so I grabbed some. Might as well toss one each pot. It came with 8 packets that are good for three gallons soil each. 12.99 for the ball. There are three main species used, and this one is the best for targetting gnats. Some are good for grubs, or other things.

Howdy again. Busy spring, but I had a few minutes to update you all.

The soil didn't work, I stopped watering when I got too busy, between the gnats and the horrible persistant need to water them... they died. A long time ago now. The hydro tank however is still going. I'll not bore you on the details of getting her this far, but here are some blurple pics from a week and half or two weeks ago. And then some natural light pics this morning. She is a bit over 36 inches high and wide. She is at the end of the stretch phase and about to start bulking up.

Double Grape is an apt name, I get grape koolaid hints in the room.

This is a Black Gold cherry tree. It seems to have gotten a soil borne pathogen, I'm guessing verticilium wilt.
