Grow Mediums Getting ready for first hydro grow

Hey everyone! I just recently traded for a hydro set up and some more lights and light mover. So I will be starting a hydro grow in October but I know nothing about hydro. I have an eight pot system from general hydroponics not sure how it works it uses an air pump not a water pump anyway I digress.
My questions are many but will start with these two. 1) if I germ my seeds then put them in rock wool cubes can I go straight to the hydro pots once they have sprouted or do I let them grow a little then put them in hydro? 1 a) since I am going to hydro do I start my seeds with water ph'd for hydro 5.5 - 6.5 or ph it for soil 6.2-6.8?
2) what is a normal feeding or watering schedule my timer only does half hour intervals do I let it run for half hour? How often?:smokebuds: thanks for any help you can give me!!!

when you se roots comming out of the rockwool cube, trandplant to final home
Some peeps have the pump on 24/7 some 15 min every hour. Its a matter of personal reference.

I can't get you pics but it is a drip system with 13 gallon resivor

If you do some search around the forum for:

They are all top feed systems with drip ring using a airpump
There is a couple of grow journals with some great Info you can read through

Thx ksjauto ill check it out and I did some looking around and it is an aqua farm system
