Indoor getting plants started

Ok so I'm just about to get my first grow under way, but just wanted to get some advice on getting the plants started and ready to go in my nft system..

i will be using the paper towel method for germination, and then once i see a taproot they will be going into root riot cubes. then once i see the taproot out of the bottom they will be put into rockwool cubes....

so what i want to know is what nutes shall i use to feed the seedlings once in the rockwool cubes? and how long before they are put into the system?

i have canna aqua nutes here and ready to go, and also rhizotonic on hand.

another question is how many plants would be best for a gt100 in a 1.2m2 tent? i have 2 cheese, 5 white cheese, 5 critical jack (all dinafem autos) to choose from, but dont want to over do it and plant to many plants for the space.

Hello ironjustice...or that other name. If that's your real name delete it. No personal info is recommended. SOunds like you're doing hydro, correct? I am no hydro man but I can help you on some of the other stuff. If they are Autos they don't tend to like any nutrients early on. Hydro is slightly different and someone with more knowledge should spot this soon. That tent could fit about 4 plants I'd say. What kind of light are you using?

Hi Squid, name removed.. Cheers And yes mate its hydro, i will be using a 600w dual spec with a euro reflector... its one i got of a mate (for free) and have only had to buy a new bulb.

dont pre feed the root riot then add feed when roots grow out of the cube start at .6-.8 ec above tap baseline then after a few days to a week up to 1.0-1.2

Cheers Agito, so i dont use any nutes at all untill they go into the 3" rockwool cubes?

if your going into rockwool you will have to ph and feed the rock wool before use
or go straight into NFT from the root riot

so if I pre soak the 3" cubes in phd water with an EC of .6-.8 and hand water untill roots are showing and then transplant to the nft tray.... and do you think its best to have the pump on 24/7 to begin with, or shall i put it on a timer untill the roots are established on the spreader mat.
