Germinated seeds in final pots

Direct to soil planter here. In the past I always used the paper towel method.. That is, until Myco became readily available. I do what @blue said. Presaturate your pot and make hole about fingernail deep. Then I coat the hole with Arbico Organic Root Build 240 Myco, and lay the seed directly it. Then I cover it with soil, and a bit more Myco. As long as the Temps stay 75°+, I normally see a sprout within 3 days.

:d5:

Yes I'm so glad I tried this method : all seeds have sprouted (plus 2 spares that I put on a humidified layer of worm casting).
Each little sprout is covered by an inverted transparent plastic cup with some holes drilled in to allow air circulation.
How long should I keep the cups on ?
I would say until the 2nd set of leaves have fully established. Once its starts to grow upwards it has anchored itself enough to handle a little drop in humidity. Plus you can give it a little more water each watering which will help raise the humidity around the plant and you can give them a light misting of plain water right before lights out to help keep up the rh at night when it does most of its growing.

Well I may have missed it but exactly how old are they and are they autos or photos? Im assuming you're running 20/4?
@Cannaficionado Sorry I should have told their age - they are 3/4 days old autos, the light is on 24/24 - Temp is 23C/74F - RH 40% outside the cups
I sprayed some water the first 2 days, then I started to pour like 60ml around the stem.
I manage to get some photos

They look really good! Id say you can leave em where they are. Im not much of an auto expert but Id be happy with what Im seeing here for sure. And definitely leave those cups on at least another week. If the rh is that low. But look like they are doing their job. Ill be watching for sure.

Thanks !
First time I plant straight in soil, so I was a little concerned...
About the RH I'll put the humidifier on when I'll remove the cups - should be ok.
I will start a thread soon in the new grower section - hope to see you there !
