New Grower GC's Winter Auto's

So, it's that time of year again. Last winter I intro'd myself and shared my first attempt at running auto's in an unheated garage, I was successful to some degree so I made a few improvements and am back at it this year.

The improvements include tearing down the roll up garage door and replacing it with a wall. Upgraded from a 400w HID setup with a 1000w HID bulb and ballast. I'll also be running a T5ho cabinet stuffed with auto's and exhausting into garage. Last year I ran 24/0 on the lights schedule, if I can I'm gonna play around with 20/4. See if I can keep temps up during those 4 hours by alternating off hours in tent and cabinet. There will be a 1500w oil filled rad heater in tent to assist.

So I placed an order with a seedbank, and was fortunate to have won some beans from them as well. I'll have plenty to play with! What you don't see in the pic is a few other 5 pack auto's and a vial gifted to me from a friend of his Blue Mammoth's. THANK YOU both very much!!

Few days back I I decided on which 6 to start with in my 4.5x4.5 tent. The lineup is:

While I had all the packs opened and about to drop the beans in ProMixHP-CC.. that's when it happened.. my sleeve wiped the GSC and WCOG off the table and onto the floor. I'll have to figure out later which is which..

Beans were dropped this past sunday night, 2.5 days later I had 3 that broke soil. The GSC, WCOG and the Auto Lemon. The rest showed themselves the following 24 hours.

I'll update soon, i'll be dropping more beans.

Hope to measure up to some of the other recent killer journal's in this section lately.

Took these pics a few days ago, expecting them to pick up the pace here shortly.

The two COTC Robocrop, one closest stunted and was about to be pulled when it showed new growth.

The Fastbuds GSC and WCOG, taking wagers on who's who.

The Auto Lemon freebie and Narco Purp in the smart pot. The smaller seedling to left is one of three Blue Mammoth reg auto's from a buds seed run.

The other two Blue Mammoths. I plan to pop three more BM's as soon as the varied 6 above move into the tent.

I bumped up to the 1K watt recently and flowered a few photo's with it, how long should I wait to put these under it? Can I do so now and just make sure the light is 2'+ above?

This is either a WCOG or a GSC from FastBuds... I mixed the beans.

I seem to be having an issue with my Auto Lemon freebie.. rust spots which I think may be a calcium def? To this point it's been getting water only at 6.5pH. This am I gave her a first feed of MaxiBloom at 20%. Do I need to pick up some CalMag for use with PromixHP-CC?

And a few of the later started BlueMammoth.

Hey dude looking good nice variety of stains. Like the sound of the narco purps. Never used promix but i think you more than likely should use calmag with it. Subbed up dude

Nice selection cant wait to see how the wcog and gsc end up as I'm growing those strains outdoors this year but that auto lemon sounds interesting deff will keep an eye on that. Good luck on your grow!

Sanguine, the newer growth is looking good since adding nutes, maybe that was the issue.. hope so.

UrbanFamer420, do a search for for Elvis and his recent grows, his thread on GSC and WCOG is the reason I added those to the list.

All 9 went into the tent last week, 1K about 30" above canopy. I'll lower the reflector so long as canopy temps stay low/mid 70's. Weird weather out this way.. calling for mid 60's this weekend.

Your too kind Camo, things are going south since the stretch. I'v read where many have issues in flower with Promix and pH issues, so I'm sure it's my inexperience with it that's causing the trouble.

Thinking about going back to Coco Hempy's after this run. Guess i'll show a few humiliating photo's..

Believe this is the GSC, I mixed the WCOG and GSC.

The auto Lemon freebie. Broke soil on 11/11 and still no pistils. I'm not 100% it's a female either, approaching 34" tall.

The three Blue Mammoth's from a buds seed run are starting to show sex, I have one confirmed Female so far.

I'm thinking the pH of 6.5 at start was bad advice, i'v dropped it down to 5.8-6.0 and upped the nutes (MaxiBloom)to 75% or so. I'd love any advice or criticism anyone might have to nudge me in the right direction.

@Gone Camping promix is soiless medium correct? Like coco? If so then you should treat it like coco or Hydro for that matter and keep ph between 5.5-6.0, the only time you go above 6.0 I think is for soil. Just what I've always been told my friend.
Now I think your girls look good mate, the buds look nice on wcog. And as far as the lemon freebie not showing sex, damn just added it up the thing is almost 60 days old, should at least be showing pistils. It may be an auto that the company hasn't perfected yet and it didn't get enough ruderalis in its genetic makeup. I would just let her keep going if you don't have height restrictions. If you do then start training that lady!!! Super crop the shit out of her and it should throw her into flower more from the stress. Good luck mate! REPS+ for what your doin in that garden
