Seed Soaking Sunday 09/27/20

Anyway, here we are, my first grow diary/journal for a while. I hope you will stop by now and again to check out whats happening. This literally is the search for meds that can help my medical issues, the Holy Grail if you like........
I don't usually soak seeds to be fair but this time I've given those beefy little bad boys a helping hand with an overnight soak.
I feel privileged to be trying some Test strains in this grow kindly provided by Stone from Autoflower Portal. I'll also be running a few Seedstockers alongside just for fun/variety.
I'm especially interested in the new test strain (Citrus Noir x S99v6) which will get her own DWC set up, the rest will be done in small pots for med suitability sampling/possible breeding.
Anyway, here's the current line up, Slow Mo V1 will probably be added in here too shortly as i managed to miss her.

After an overnight soak, they are transferred to paper towel/plastic baggy and placed somewhere warm. (Paper towel method is my preferred bean-poppage method) Now we wait.......

First out of the shell is starfruit, followed by one of the S/S Mystery Strains closely followed by candy dawg. Just carefully had a quick look under the loupe at the rest, should be out by this evening i reckon.........Guess i better go prepare some soil! (Biobizz lightmix, additional perlite, usual fungi/seaweed/Charge combo)For the soil plants Feeding will comprise of a new powdered nutrient I’ve been testing which shall remain nameless for the time being. Lets get this grow on!

Today has been a long day, hence the late night update. 6 out of 7 beans have popped, some had inch - long taproots when i checked them!

Sadly, CN - S99V6 currently hasn't shown up to the party.
:(
I'm not giving up on her yet though, one or two more nights won't hurt before i go for a second bean.
forsee

The soil ladies have been potted up today and are now chilling out in the tent.
highfive

Hey Pro-T .. Sounds great!!

Those images are not appearing on the screen.
If you have them on your computer and hit the "attach files" button at the bottom of the window where you write your posts, you can select them and click "full image" green button

Hi weedy peeps, here we are, end of week 1/day 7.
Seedlings were placed into small pots with biobizz lightmix amended with perlite, Horticultural sand, frass and beneficials. They are being misted up to six times daily with rhizotonic PH'd to 6.3 and appear to be happy and are now peeking above the soil!

Most now have their true leaves and are being closely watched and nurtured under an LED,T5 - Style light. They currently have some plastic cups acting as humidity domes. Finding it hard to get good pics at the moment so just a couple of shots today......

I managed a couple of close ups tonight for your viewing pleasure.......

CN - S99V6 had a particularly hard shell but threw out a tap root after another soak and more warmth. She didn't hang around after she appeared, pushing out an inch and a half of tap root and shedding her helmet/shell in a short space of time. She was placed into a small hydro pot with some tap water and beneficials PH'd to 5.9/6.0 with humidity cup, TDS is sitting around 100 ppm........i'll watch and adjust as nessasary. When she gains her first true leaves and becomes stronger she'll be moved into her final home. Anyway, here she is......

Temps are currently at a steady 21*c with Humidity currently sitting around 60-70٪, I will increase the humidity to around 80٪ by adding a small damp towel once everything has true leaves and domes are ready to come off.

That's pretty much it for the time being, more updates as things happen/progress.
