Hey everyone! First time poster on this forum. I posted on an old marshydro conversion thread, but since these are slightly different I figured i am better off making a new thread.

I recently acquired 5, 300w LED lights that I want to convert to COB. They are exactly like GalaxyHydros, but do not have an brand name on them. I have been doing research on building COB grow lights for several months, and have a fair share of understanding of how they work. However, the more I read and the more COBs I look into, the more I am confused on which options will be best for my drivers.

Each light has 2 drivers rated at 80-130v 550a, and another for the two fans. What would be the most bang for my buck on these drivers?
I also have a viparspectra 900W that I will convert eventually, so was hoping to get some advice on that one too. 4 drivers, Output voltage 100-140V, current 700-750mA-5W

Thank you in advanced!

I need to find my reply earlier and past it in here lol.
I mentioned the citizen 1812's for price and voltage. With these drivers I have seen a higher fail rate pushing them to their maximum. On paper you may find a better cob that fills the voltage range better but personally for the price the 1812's would be my choice. 2 cobs per driver and 4 cobs in the smaller "300" panel. Sorry for the late reply.

I have a viparspectra 900w also that im thinking of converting to cob... would definitely need some hand holding thru that switch out. Im a welder not an electrician. Lol

Its a lot easier than you would imagine. Now welding is a real talent.
