Dutch Passion Fweedoms Blue Velvet Grow.

Can somebody let me know when i can expect my photoperiods to stop vertical growth? im concerned about them outgrowing my tent and right now theyre still putting out new sets of leaves everyday, theres main bud on top yet.

im not sure if i should start tying the tops down now or can i still do that to the main cola in full flower with good results?

i know it seems i have plenty of room but there only like 3 days into flower and i gotta keep my hood atleast 1 foot above the canopy and since it hangs from hooks i cant bring the light completely to the top of the tent so thats why im concerned, thanks for any help :Sharing One:

Update for Blue Velvet like 4 or 5 days into flower.

last night the bigger one on the right was fed 4 tablespoons of Big Bloom and 1/2 tsp of tiger bloom.

Looking great bro, they will stretch for a few days more but will slow soon.

Blue Velvet Update. Day 6 of 12/12. i gave them bloom nutes last feed without any veg nutes. i know if you give too much Nitrogen that can cause more stretching and i dont need that since they are getting so close to the top anyway heres some pics ..

.

Ok guys day 40 for the one on the left day 45 for one on right. both been on 12/12 for 11 days.

I tied the top of the taller down about an inch and will try to bend her a little more each day so she doesnt hit the light. Is it bad to be tieing the top down this late into the grow? is it stressfull at all? thanks for any info on that!

EDIT: looking at the plant I tied It kinda seemed like the amount i pulled down wasn't much and seemed kind of pointless so I took it down a bit more hopefully all goes well..

yeah, gradual bending should be OK. Just select some string which doesn't cut into the stem and remember the plant will keep trying to correct itself.

Update for the Blue Velvets! Day 41 and day 46. Both Have been on 12/12 for 12 days.

I mentioned i tied this one down a bit yesterday and i brought her down a little more tonight.

Im glad i tied her down because i was tieing her to manage height but also got the extra benefit of letting the lower sights get more light and theyre starting to come up more as you can see below..

thanks for checking them out :peace:

There filling out nicely.

Blue Velvet Update. Wow looking back at the other pictures its crazy how fast they grow. Just spent the last few hours raising the light and adjusting things..it was a real pain doing it with the light on but i had to do what i had to due to keep temps down.

I absolutely cant raise the light anymore so if they keep going up ill have to break out more string. Thanks for stopping by guys :Sharing One:
