Blue Velvet Update. The plant on the right is on day 30 and the other day 25. I boosted the smaller plant up so it can be even and the other isnt taking all the light. i planned on topping both at the 5th node but they blew up on me faster than i anticipated so neither have been topped. i plan on vegging for about another week, should i just let them grow out, would it be a bad idea to top them this late into veg since im about to flip? any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated :Sharing One:
Does it matter when i water her with sledgehammer?
to save myself some problems later i wanted to water her with sledgehammer to remove salt buildup before i switch from veg to bloom nutes. Does it matter if use that and then flip to 12/12 or should i flip them and then use it? or does it not matter... i just dont want any issues with them going into flower :dunno:
Blue Velvet Update. They smaller on on the left was vegged for 30 days while the bigger vegged for 35 days. This is Day 2 of 12/12. Last night instead of flushing with sledgehammer they were both given plain water until i got about 10-15% runoff. i originally planned on using the sledgehammer for a mid grow flush but decided not to after reading some negative reviews so went with plain water instead. i wanted to rid any salt possibly and make sure the ph is good before switching to bloom nutes. If i made the wrong choice and end up getting buildup then i guess i can always still hit it with the sledgehammer later if necessary. Tonight i will put in my 600w HPS and take out the MH.
They look alright for the most part a few spots here and there where ph may have fluctuated but thats fine and the only yellowing really is that tiny leaf on the very bottom of the smaller one, hopefully the plain water feed wont starve them or make them too hungry thanks for stopping by
