Funky seedlings, would you still go ahead??

They are growing pretty quick, however I'm noticing light green leaves and dark veins. I upped the calmag dosage and nitrogen. Wel see how they carry on.

I will LST them on the next update.

Getting a little bigger. Light green leaves and dark veins becoming very prominent on one plant. Might need to buy a new PH pen. Or handwater that specific plant more nitrogen.

Plants are growing very short and bushy, squat height advantage BUT thick stems, will need to LST main branches very carefully as their becoming rigid very quick.

I KNEW I should have LST'd my plants a couple of days ago, I've been slacking and now the Main branch has gone too thick to bend without snapping. I still LST'd the side branches and defoliated. I left 2 plants il do them tommorow as my back started to hurt (I babysit most days and have to carry babies for a long time). The ill plant I didn't defoliate too much I let the girl be a little. I also ran out of LST pipes.

Il let them recover for a week then flip them into flower

Looking good!
My friend/grower in my old hometown always gave the runty plants a chance when she popped seeds for each grow. She had this theory that the plants that had to struggle to grow as seedlings will be 'better' plants once they get their stride compared to their more 'normal' siblings, regardless of the eventual yield. She did/does have pretty good smoke, eh? There might be some validation to her theory more concretely or anecdotally somewhere, but l think she was onto something. The "Freakshow" strain was made from an assortment of "mutant" seedlings that would have been culled by others, but noticed and saved by an intrepid grower and bred into each other over generations. It looks pretty cool & gets you high too.
I'd keep the stragglers and see what happens unless space issues arise, but the outdoors is warming and that may become a space for the 'extra' plants.

Sorry for the late reply! And that's such an interesting piece! And you're right indeed, beginning of the grow I wasn't very impressed with their growth and looks, but now most of them look as normal as any other grow. They are generally healthy. However my dripper system looks like it's watering only one side of my pots, even with run off I can feel dry Coco on the other side of the pot... I might need to add another pump and manifold to stick lines to the other sides of the pot.

The plants are recovering well from the Major leaf strip and LST. Tommorow will mark 4 weeks veg. Il give them another week to perk up and solidify their stems before putting them on 12/12.
