I've been looping my buds with a jeweler's loop making sure I harvest at the right time. The pictures of frosted leaves are some of my fave to look at and my buds are starting to do the same now.

I was looking at them with my loop and noticed a few buds are frosting but on the ones that have just started look like the leaves have little bumps as if the thrichs are emerging from the leaf.

Where does the frosting come from?

To clarify what I'm asking I snapped a shot this morning. Notice the bumps and then where the trichs have developed. It looks like that's where they formed.

trichomes are liquid and will evaporate if subjected to radiation heat from lamps, you'll often notice your biggest finest top buds having "bumps" instead of stalked trichomes....

then move the lights ;)

:D hope it helps

i was having the same problems as you, took me a long time to figure out why my finest top buds didnt have stalked trichomes while the lower buds on the same plant did
