Indoor Franks Fastbuds

@Frankthetank

Just read you are using a Mars 1200 which means you're running in the 600 watt range. I feel as if your plant should be much bigger at day 33. I wonder what is keeping it from bushing up, mine always did when using the 3x100 panels. How far is the light away and are you sure it's an official Mars hydro product?

Although I would assume that if it was the light it would be stretching? My current grow is the biggest I've ever gotten by far and I am 100% sure it has to do with the light. I'm running 400 more watts than I was before. I believe the MH/HPS are much better than the Mars Hydro Old model series. I can't speak on any of their other lights as I have not used them.

I think I underestimated the power of my light. After talking with @Ripper I think it was too low, therefore keeping them from stretching to reach it. Also, I run the light with both switches on all the time....I'm trying to get a perpetual thing going, so I won't be able to just run the grow switch. We'll see if having the light higher works for the two little ones....where about 3 feet above them right now.

I will say...if the plants start getting to big (in the future) I'll probably have to decrease my plant count.

All in all, I'm learning....and thats what matters to me. Somebody said the other day that you learn more from a bad grow than a good one. At this rate I should be a genius in no time! :rofl::rofl:

I sure hope so, I ordered it from their website.

I had the light around 18" above the canopy for probably the first 25 or so days of their life. After talking with @Ripper I moved it up to about 32". I'm sure the plants where stunted...

Yeah probably so. When mine was a seedling I had it at least 18 inches away if I remember correctly and mine was a single 150 water.

They took off when you lifted the light didn't they...

(Sorry I'm hi jacking your thread @Frankthetank )

Anyways, about the VIVOSUN fabrics pots... everything says 5 gallons but the pot size is actually three gallons? Is this normal? I am use to growing in 5 gallon buckets. The size would save me some space but I think I would have smaller plants! I have an actual three gallon pot from some roses I purchased and it fits right inside the fabric pot perfectly.

Anyways I emailed the company about it let's see what they reply with. The fabric seems very durable, thicker than I expected for sure.
That's odd I have the3 and 5 gallon. The are pretty nice I poke holes in them for LST tie downs with no issues.
