Does flushing really matter when using bottle nutrients. I am one week from harvest and just wanted to double check. Thanks and enjoy your day.
Gotcha. Appreciate itFeed until the end. No need or benefit in flushing
flushing isnt necessary unless you have lockout during the grow or ph issuesDoes flushing really matter when using bottle nutrients. I am one week from harvest and just wanted to double check. Thanks and enjoy your day.

So first, I'm going to give you a little information, then, DO your homework! This can't be answered in a paragraph, you need to get some in depth information.

Soluble nutrients can be leached from soil/media, not from plants.but leaching the nutrients from your plant is what to do
you want to drop the nutrients for the last week or 10 days just water and sweeteners are needed if you leach the nutrients from the plant material it will burn cleaner
i used the word leaching because when it was explained to me it was the word used but looking it up your correct its not right to describe the process so what im saying is cut out the nutrients for the last 7-10 days just add water and sweeteners so the plant can consume its stores of whatever it consumes which i presume is NPK etc ???? what word would you use to describe this processSoluble nutrients can be leached from soil/media, not from plants.
How does "leach[ing] the nutrients from the plant material" work inside a plant? Leaching is the removal of substances/materials by dissolving in a flowing fluid (here water). Do you presume the plant somehow moves nutrient rich water in its tissues to somewhere outside the plant - to where and how does that happen? Roots don't exude/secrete nutrients from upper plant tissues into the soil/medium, so where do the dissolved nutrients and water its dissolved in go?
If starving the plant of nutes pre-harvest, there might(?) be reduction in concentration of dissolved nutrients in plant tissues, including consumption/metabolism of some nutrients not replaced by feeding, but that is not leaching.
"Starvation" - no food and consumption of soluble/available nutrients.i used the word leaching because when it was explained to me it was the word used but looking it up your correct its not right to describe the process so what im saying is cut out the nutrients for the last 7-10 days just add water and sweeteners so the plant can consume its stores of whatever it consumes which i presume is NPK etc ???? what word would you use to describe this process
