Vivosun 4x2x60” grow room
2 Phlizon 2020 LED lights
1 CFL light
1 White widow autoflower
2 Northern lights autoflower
Coco coir w/ perlite
3 gal fabric bag
Sensi Bloom A & B
Big Bud
Bud Candy
Cal/Mag

This is our first grow and we have had many missteps along the way as we learn about these plants. The plants are in day 54 since germinating and I can see a lot of bud sites. We have 2 Northern Lights, and one is quite stunted. The other NL and the White Widow are very bushy.
I have done some LST on the plants but not much else. There are differences of opinion that they should not be touch, they should be trimmed, or just clean up the bottom.
I was wondering if it’s too late to do any kind of trimming to open the canopy a bit.
I think we are also going to do some experimenting with the stunted NL as we have also talked about tossing it.
Thank you for your help.
Judy

Beautiful plants! I am surprised that they are only starting to bud up at 54 days. I would probably lollipop those plants, and right now would probably be good timing. Just my opinion.

Nice looking plants! I agree with saskraider12 I would shave the legs on those and eliminate any popcorn sites.

@jak17:welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:Let those girls grow!

Those are beautiful plants. If you can add some 660nm red light for 10 - 15 minutes at lights out it may improve the stretch a bit. I would not do a thing to trim. Just give it a large dose of let it grow. When you get to mid flower you will most likely need to do some defo underneath for air circulation.
:goodluck:

I am pro defo, but I think it's best early in flower.

People do things differently but I would remove all big fan leaves from the lower 1/3 of the plant

Thank you everyone for the responses. They are so late because we really stressed them when they were young trying to figure out what we were doing. We did take the stunted NL last night and cleaned up her canopy and she seemed to like it. Excited to see how the flowers progress.
