Has anyone ever thought about using fresh water aquarium water for plants?? I have no idea what kind of nutrients and minerals would be in it. I checked the ppm it was 130 and ph was 6.7. My tank is pretty clean right now sometimes it can get kinda fishy smelling. I don't know I'm just buzzed sitting here thinking

I've read about it some, and it can be done I suppose.
If your nitrates are not too high and ammonia levels are cool, I'd think at least using it as mix would be worth trying. Obviously, not cool for a salt salt or brackish tank:biggrin:

I've read about some hydroponics setups using that. Aquaponics is what it commonly goes by. You feed the fish, the fish feed the plants is the basic plan.
