Update... Day 17 (18 from seed)

chz3.jpg
1st pic is Bridgette the midget (who is something like 3-4 days behind the other two due to germination hassle, but she's doing well)
My only worry with her is that I've had to move the light up and I think she'll stretch out more than I would have liked.

Followed by mid sized sister Claudia (finding this one REALLY bushy, she was first to pop through and had the closer light for longer, hoping that she'll start moving upwards now with the light higher, she has a lot of new growth under those big fans that I'd like to see coming through)

And last but by no means least Sally *all named by the missus lol*

she's coming on really well, grow's almost an inch every day, Her fans are as big as my hand !!, decided to move them out of the room to get a better pic, then ended up rushing and taking them from a dodgy angle, my next pics will be miles better (I promise)

I Gave the ladies 2ml bizz grow today and 1 teaspoon of molasses mixed into like 4 lires water (shared as needed).

Fitted the extractor to my room too (what a difference in the temps in there now and little to no odour unless you are literally face to face with the ladies)

Here's hoping things keep going the way they are now, I'm actually quite proud of myself at the moment lol.

Looking great for you first attempt evil. Nice work!

Cheers for the props, always appreciated !!

Quick question, should I be removing my big fan leaves to allow light to the new growth ? or do I just leave them as they are ?

If I do remove them where should I cut etc ?? **right about now I wish stitch was around to give me his advice after all it's his strain**

But yeah, opinions appreciated folks.

Fan leaf removal is a highly debated topic. Everyone has different opinions on it and some strains may react different to it. I am not cutting any of mine due to the fact that I think most of the guys around here do not trim fan leaves on autos. Hopefully someone will come through with a bit more experience with trimming fans.

I'll second Rollers motion. Your leaves are your powerhouses. Let them suck up all the energy they can. Maybe try tucking and moving them out of the way if they're blocking too much light. If my guess is correct, your plants will get wider as they get taller and things won't be as tight, allowing more light in to those places that might seem blocked now. :2cents: :peace:

I was debating it with my other self last night and the me that is the one that thinks the leaves should stay on won out lol, nice to come online and see that you guys basically told me to do what the horticulturalist side of my brain said !!

**glad I didn't go ahead and do it now**

This strain is a stupidly fast grower I think, being my first go I've nothing to compare to, but I've been around other grows and they are nowhere near this from what I've seen... I'll up some more pics on monday or something, gave the girls some more molasses and grow today... just grow next feed I think then molasses every 2nd feed from now on.

my last run i did a heavy defoilage tech.that turned out pretty nice.this run i'm not cutting anything.going the all natural look.

I just noticed that the roots are growing out of the 11ltr's, I'm gonna need to pot up.... Don't wanna stunt them too soon.
