New Grower First time growing. Time to say hello!

I didnt realise the fan came without a wire, so just had to make an emergency trip to get the rest of it. None the less, it's now wired and ready to go in the tent!

Alas... The cool tube helped reduce it down to about 31.... Not exactly ideal... So next idea is get a bunch of freezer blocks and shove them in the intake tubes, will be a pain but hopefully the temps will start to drop over the next few weeks. Also might have a spare portable AC soon. But this seem to be quite a lot of work just to get this tent to acceptable heat levels!!! Two input fans, extractor fan and AC for 1 600w bulb... Looks like LED will have to be the only option in the future here...

Hi again. Quick update. I tried fashioning a mini AC using g the cooler box method. But I only had a cooler bag which serves the same purpose. But having a feeling it is too small on the intake fan to make too much difference.

What's your guys thought, I have a 6" intractor fan on the cool tube, and a 4" intractor on the air intake via DIY cool bag. Do you think I need to swap the fans around so that I have a stronger cold air intake? I'm guessing it might be worth a look. But I want opinions before I start taking the tent apart for the tenth time!!

Please please please have your say and tag anyone who might be able to help... But hopefully AC arriving today or tomorrow. I might have to out the plant back outside if I cant find a way of cooling this tent!!!

Just for more information:

Exhaust fan is 355m3/h : blauberg Centro 125 USW

Tent size 1.2x1.2x2

6 inch cool tube fan : 305 m3/h

4 inch intake fan via cool bag, no passive intake. Unsure on cm3/h

600w HP's with cool tube.

2 small fans, and bigger oscillating fan placed in various locations.

Just incase you need to know!

Are you extracting the air outside the tent? What's the room temperature? Can you cool the room? It's hard to manage temps with hps. Up to about 90 and you should be ok.

Yeah Im extracting the hot air to outside, both from carbon filter and from light cool tube. Temps stay around 27c in the room maybe 28. Tent temp is higher. No way I can cool the room atm, not without another portable AC which I will hopefully be getting soon. I have decided I will swap the cool tube fan for the smaller intake fan. I assume more cold air being pumped in is more benificial than the cool tube

28 c isnt bad. Probably a good temp for the grow. I'd rather be warm than cold

Yeah sorry 28c is the room temp, the tent is 31-32c. Constant yellowing of leaves, but to be honest they won't have long to go now so I'll just do what I can with them

The rain is pouring down today, and I have been able to move my outdoor plant into some cover so I'm hoping for the best with this one, the poor thing has already been taped back together after splitting down the middle! It's a tough one though, been through a lot and still packing on the weight!! I'll have to get some pictures later after work hoping it's still in one piece or salavgable at worst.

I spent hours last night rearranging the tent. I've moved the 6 inch intractor from the cool tube to the air intake via cool bag, replaced it with the 4 inch intractor fan, it fitted snuggly right on the end of it! and left it open so it vents more of the hot air outside via the bulb, don't think it will cool the bulb much but I'm happy to get more of the tent heat out any way I can. And smell is not much of a problem for me at the moment.

The portable AC has arrived in town, so hopefully it'll be rigged up tonight.

Good things to come! Just sit back and enjoy the rain without dampening any spirits.

I feel this thread is basically dead now, so I'll just update it every now and again
