So I got a couple seeds from a friend of mine one dinafem fruit auto and one tangelo auto they went labeled so I'm not sure which one I have growing right now.

So for the first week and a half 2 weeks I didn't use a light and the room I had it in got pretty cold at night. When I finally used a light I started with a 120w Philip's floodlight. After about a month and a half 2 months I got a 1000w led with bloom and veg settings and a 2x2x4 tent.

I'm roughly in week 10 now and haven't moved past preflower. I tried switching my light from 16/8 to 12/12 for a week with no luck.

I will get better pics in the morning

meterz, not feet  it'z most likely 1000w equivalent & actual is probly 200-250w or so ;) the ques i have is why he didn't uze a light at all the first 2-1/2w, lol :rolleyes2: ppp

You aren't sure what those seeds are. Given the fact the plants had no light at all for 2 weeks, this surely is slowing things down.

You want a consistent environment, temps 70 to 80 Fahrenheit or so, the area its in needs RH at about 50% or above, if possible.

But I'd guess the seeds are photosensitive. With autoflowers they would have pre budlets on them by now.

Consider it a lesson learned. They may never bud, or it could take months more.

Research things deeply before doing them. It's the only way to get results.

I'd not even take random seeds from anybody. I want to know what I have.

The light you have in ur pic? Is not 1000 watts, btw. Closer to 100.

Most lights advertise a crazy high wattage, its marketing HYPE. What you want to know is how many WATTS does it draw from the wall outlet. That will tell you the actual wattage the light puts out.

You're welcome.

I'm guessing so it was a cheap led

That is feet it was a cheap off brand LED so as the other guy said it probably isn't actual watts. It is advertised as 110 actual watts which supposedly equals 1000 watts of light. It definitely made a huge difference from the regular bulb and lamp I orginally started with haha.

I'm definitely a rookie and just have a cheap set up right now. Figure when I get some experience I will upgrade.

The seeds are definitely auto I seen the original pack they came in. I just mixed them up. Yes the lights actual watts is 110x5 or some thing. It was cheap so I figured it wasn't what it said it was but has definitely made a difference.

I only used one of the 2 seeds I was given, since then have ordered some from Europe. It was orginally just a trial run to show my fiance that it wouldn't be messy or cause bugs since she is a clean freak haha.

Thank you for your input I figured once I have a little more experience I will upgrade my set up.

Here are a few close up's of it. Also my week old mendo mass.

I've got lots of experience growing regular or feminized seeds but I'm also on my first auto grow. My plants in this pic taken last week were 10 to 16 days old: 2 young 10 days, two were 16 days old in this pic:

This plant was more of an experiment. My fiance told me she didn't want me growing in the house because she thought it would attract more spiders and other house bugs. Once I got her past that fear I turned on the light which she was scared would hurt our cat. Not only did I finally get her on board she started checking on how much it grew and started some what liking it.

That is when I started ordering my set up and better seeds. It is a cheap setup for now once I get some experience I will start upgrading. So honestly I really am not expecting much from the original plant but the one I planted about a week ago is getting much more love from the start.
