What do you mean I could train the plant!? Too advanced for me ATM, i just want a simple abc grow for future experience, a simple strain to grow so i cannot fcuk up which I have a strong hunch I will. Haha

If that's the way you're going about it then you're probably going to fuck it up :/ You need to do your homework and get everything together before your grow. Low stress training isn't complicated, it's just bending the plant over. I advise if you don't want to end up killing your plants you visit the new growers section on these forums and do a lot of reading up.

as far as lowryder 2 and smell, I've best heard it described as atomic cat piss. LR2 is a stinker for sure. This site's seed bank sells Mossy's Jems, which is a rather low odor strain. Also plant size is in the genetics, but pot size has a lot to do with how large your plants will get. I just had a MI5 finish up around a foot and a half in a two gallon grow bag.

Low Ryder #2 is fairly hardy. It does have quite a strong smell though.

Lowryder #2's are awesome and great for first timers. I keep mine to around 9-12" with a 1 gallon pot, but they will stretch out to 2 ft or more outside like that I believe, with a bigger pot, using sunlight.

The downside is that they do have an odor - it's not overwhelming and prob never will be if you're just growing one plant at a time, but you WILL smell it and it will be a problem for you, if you have no odor control, on a patio with neighbors around.

Anything with a skunky gene/pheno is going to smell more than those without.

I'm growing Russian Rocket Fuel now, and it stays 11-18" and seems to be very low odor, with a higher thc % than the LR2 strains. Due to those factors, I am going to just learn how to grow it out properly in my conditions one way or the other.

The LR2's are incredibly resilient and do better in high temps (possibly the Brazilian genes) but I would be concerned about the odor after about 3-4 weeks.

I think lowryder 2 is way too stinky for an apartment building balcony. You are asking for your neighbours to turn you in. Stealth man or you will be sorry.

I really think Mossy's Jems are your best shot. Low odor and bred for outdoors. That LR2 will broadcast your activities to the neighbors for sure.
