I just setup a 4x8 grow tent in my garden shed. I am brand new to this hobby so if you spot anything that looks wrong, I would appreciate your feedback. My only experience is outdoor growing vegetables and flowers.

Strands for this grow: All autoflower:
2x Gorillia glue (got these free)
4x Seed stockers BCN Crtitical XXL (I chose this strain)
4x Demon Auto Tao (got these free)

Sprouted and planted in final medium as of Saturday 22nd October 2020

Ventilation:
-150mm intake fan sucking in cool air through a vent from outside the shed
- Another intake fan, 100mm
-1x clip on oscillating fan
-2x 200mm exhaust fan
-ink bird temperature controller
Configuration: I have 1x 200mm exhaust fan on low at all times. If the temperature exceeds 26 degrees then it will activate the other 200mm exhaust fan and the 2 intake fans.

Lights:
2x quantum boards with Latest Samsung leds. These Quantum board pull 400w each from the wall on max power. I have them on around 70% power right now and 20 inches from the plants.

Autopot system:
8x 3.9gal (15l) pots with 100L flexitank. The flexitank has an air pump and air stone to help stir the water and keep it fresh. The air pump is on a timer and activities 4 times per day for 15 minutes each time.

I also have 2x 5 gal fabric Smart Pots (Using these only because I had more seeds germinate than I expected) But it will be nice to see a comparison to the autopot system

Grow medium:
70/30 Coco/perilite mix with 1 inch of clay balls at bottom of each autopot
The 2x 5gal fabric pots have only coco/perilite

Nutrients
Goliath A+B
Goliath Veg
Goliath Bloom
Canna cal mag
Goliath potassium supplement Edit:(Ceased using due to block)
Goliath ph down

Very nice setup! With coco you will want to feed every time you water, never just use plain water. I usually water mine every 4-5 days or so in the beginning, just to make sure it’s not drying out in the pot, and make sure your ph is around 5.7-6.0 for the majority of the grow!

4x Seed stockers BCN Crtitical XXL (I chose this strain)
4x Demon Auto Tao (got these free)

Ventilation:
-150mm intake fan sucking in cool air through a vent from outside the shed that goes directly into the tent. This is bigger then the exhaust fan but it’s also a cheap one and not very powerful while the exhaust fan is a high quality powerful centrifugal fan.
-100mm exhaust fan with carbon filter sucking air out of tent to outside the shed via another vent Installed on the garden shed.
-1x floor standing oscillating fan

Lights:
2x quantum boards with Latest Samsung leds. These Quantum board pull 400w each from the wall on max power. I have them on around 70% power right now and 90cm from the plants.

Autopot system:

Nutrients: (Following their feeding instruction from their site): https://www.goliathnutrients.com/pages/feed-schedule
Goliath A+B
Goliath Veg
Goliath bloom

So far:
The seedlings In the auto pots are just 1 week old. The seedlings in the fabrics post are a few days old.
They have been feed nutrients/water only once so far
The quantum board led lights are on 24/0
The auto Pot System is not turned on as I need to hand water until roots develop to bottom of the grow medium

1 Question: When do you think I should feed them next?
very nice im in for the show :pop: those critical are a very nice strain something to watch out for when you turn on the rez is some people say the air stone will mess with the ph in the tank

It appears I have twins growing in 1 of the autopots? I was quite careful sowing the seeds, pretty sure I would not have put two seeds in. I am thinking I will just let it grow and see what happends.

But if an update. Week 2. The plants seem to be coming along ok.

I likely overwatered a bit and also made a mistake with lights being too far away initially. I have also been having issues with heat. I fixed the lights and I am working on solving heat issues. Still learning how much I should water and how often. The quantum boards actually put out quite a lot of heat. I installed portable aircon and I will get a better intake fan. Sometimes temps hit 33-35 degrees but usually have it below 28. Have lights running during night only. 18/6. Overall I am thinking things are going ok. Decent amount of growth for the time frame and plants look healthy as far as I can tell.

PH soil tester comes to around 6. Watering once per day with light amount of nutes to small amount of runoff. I poked some holes in the coco/perilite with a chopstick to allow allow more oxygen.

Here is a better picture. Day 13
I think I stunted the smart pot seedlings somehow sadly.
Tent will be upgraded to automated temperature control this week with better intake and exhaust fans. Bigger vents and acoustic silencing ducting.

Day 16

I have seen some nice growth over past few days. The humidity has picked up here due to rain in my area. The ladies seem to like it. Even the ones in the smart pots at the front that I thought may not survive are
making some good progress.

Some of the leaves are hitting the sides of the autopots. I think I will wait a few more days still before turning it on the auto feeding. I had filled up 25L of weak nutrient mix in my reservoir over a week ago. It has just run out as of today.

I have added a picture of the twins. Double sprout from single seed. I can see there is 1 plant much more dominant there.

My upgraded equipment has arrived to help with climate control and hopefully a little less noise.
200mm exhaust fan
100mm intake fan
150mm intake fan
150mm vents to be installed on garden shed. (Currently just have 100mm vents)
200mm fan will be converted to 150mm With duct reducer
Acoustic silencing ducting
6” clip on oscillating fan
Inkbird temperature controller

Also bought some ph down and potassium silicate supplement.

looking right on track :d5:

Just wanted to point out that the link you posted to the feed chart for goliath states that it's for tomatoes grown in soil.. It also says that the EC should be between 2-3.5!! That's between 1000-1800 ppms!! You'll fry those plants if you follow that feed chart. The highest ec I've ever used when feeding nutes to autos, is .8 - 1.0.. That's 500-700 ppms.. Just something to think about before problems start showing. I think I see a few leaves already showing discoloration.

Thanks very much! I didn’t realize.
