New Grower First Time Grow under CFL

End of Week 4 Pics

These are pictures at the end of Week 4. Last feed they had day before yesterday, I added 1ml of Biobizz Bloom along with the 3ml of Grow. I will now keep the Grow at 3ml and gradually increase the Bloom nuts. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also, I really need to know now, if by seeing these pics, I should change to my 200W 2700K bulb OR stay a bit longer with the 6400K.

Please advice on that "lights question" as I'm a bit buffled.

As for the "Easy Bud" strain plant, It seems to be shorter that the "Quick One" in the pics, so I decided it will have to follow the Quick One and see what happens.

I don't start until a few weeks later in the belief that the sooner you switch, your blooming is quickened and the sooner your grow ends. By extending it you hopefully yield more.

I like your LST. Looking at pic on right I think perhaps tie your lead tip down a little further so it is just below your central buds. This will promote a more even bush I think.

A Gardener this isn't my "lead tip" as you call it. "Lead tip" is first tip from left at the right picture :) What you refer to is just another tip coming from middle of main cola. So you'd suggest to stay with 6400K for at least another week (week 5). Should I wait until growth slows down or there is something on flowers that'd give the the signal to change to 2700Κ.

Thanks for the advice, anyone else??

For what I want to create I'd pull that other tip down then, it's become dominant and will continue to. As for lighting, sorry I'm not qualified to comment, I meant waiting on bloom nutes.

Nutes or Heat Burn? Please advise and comment!

End of Week 5.

I have already changed for a week now my light from 125W 6400K to 200W 2700K and notices some burns on top leafs. I assume its heat burn because my second plant (Easy Bud) has no problems at all, although growing a bit slower, as it was a bit far from the light. I have also cut down on nutes for a couple of feeds just to be sure. I was watering with 3ml/Grow and 1.5ml/Bloom up until then.

I have 3 questions if anyone cares to answer.

1. I now switched back to my 6400K 125W light just to be safe. Unfortunately space is very limited so despite my LSTing heat/light stress seems to be a problem with the 200W. What the difference would be if Bloomed just under 6400K light? just lower yield?

2. Should I ditch the Grow nutes now that flowering is on its way or keep adding Grow along with the Bloom Nutes. I am planning to feed again next watering, after 2 feeds with just water.

3. Do you think I'll get finished with some weed at the end, even limited yield or you see a major flaw in my Growing so far?

Howdy anast... Now keep in mind I'm a newbee..But I have 2 Quick One's in week eight today..

#1- I'm using a T5 8 bulb with 4 at 6400K and 4 at 2700K
#2- Again I'm using both veg and bloom nutes per the FF guild
#3- Unless you mess up big time I'd say you will have plenty of smoke coming soon..

Looks to me your doing a Grand job of taking care of your ladies..Keep up the great farming

:peace:

HD Grower thank you my friend, I was starting to get very dissapointed... I'm sure I'm learning a lot but it would be a grand step back not to get anything out of my first grow...

Hey bro, as long as you have a fan blowing on your ladies, I wouldn't think you would get light burn. I just set out 2 plants outside that I started for almost a month with 2 45 watt 5500k bulbs and I had mine at an inch from the bulbs. Also, why not use both lights, especially for the plant that's not getting as much light. Just my 2 cents ... :peace:

Final Stages I guess...

End of Week 6 now. As you see I have probably an (N) deficiency on my Quick One girl, but some how I still getting a small yield out of it. Not Bad for a first grow, taking into consideration that I am growing in a 70cm high space, and as I found too late, potting in 3-4 Litre pots is not going to help your plant. Anyway, Here are my photos of both plants (Quick One and Easy Bud). Last Biobizz feed today (end of week 6) I am sticking with plain water from now on.

Would love if someone gave me an idea of when to start thinking of harvesting those. Already planted my next 2, in 10L pots, so starting better off now.

For all that have helped me and encouraged me so far, a big thank you!
