New Grower first time grow ever

12 x 12 = 144 square foot

2000watts / 144 = 13.8 watts per square foot.

General rule of thumb is about 50 watts per square foot is ideal.

Yes but he has them lights on movers dude so that rule does not apply in the same way then. Look at his plants, they look great and that is all that matters :)
Light movers = less bulbs = same or better result.

Wonderful looking plants my friend.

Is this your first first time of growing pot or just your first time growing autos?

Anyways, keep rocking them girls Cobra style :)

I have used light mover back in the day and it only really helps the outside plants that are not getting enough par but you still need more wattage per square foot. But if you are growing great weed and love yer results that is all that matters

In my years of experience growing with both fixed lights and light movers (in various configurations) I found that more light out performs less light. I'm talking 25 watts p/sq.ft on movers compared to 50 watts fixed. I really really wanted the light movers and less light to win over more lights and fixed (due to the fact that more lights = more heat and electricity) but at the end of the day no matter how hard I tried I wasn't getting the same results as I was with all those extra watts I was missing out on.

But we can agree to disagree that's fine ;)

I do agree with this though. At the end of the day all that matters is if you're happy with your results.

I was merely trying to point out the fact there is a rule that says a certain amount of watts per square foot is ideal in order to bring a little of my experience to the table. Hope that helps.
