First time autos need advice

Most Mephisto plants are nutrient sensitive. Dont feed them heavy, keep eye on ph, and Calmag. Less is more and youll be rewarded with huge colas
I'm using ionic 1 part hydro that what I used years ago so u think ec should be lower then recommend?

Been running mephisto ladies for a couple years, have only had a handful that were nutrient sensitive. Most, like the 4 I'm currently running, will take more than most would think. The current girls are eating at 150% of the recommended amounts, and responding well.

Nice setup you got there. Clean.
Are they in Hydro? Or am I seeing it wrong?
In any case. Welcome to AFN :welcome: Lots of information to find if you use the Advanced Search function and loads of cool people to help you out if in trouble or for a chat

Oh and before I forget. I'm with @Olderfart on the wing clipping thing... Leafs are the plants engines. Remove these and your grow stalls. That's my point of view any way ;)

Regards,

Bob

O.P. This thread puzzles me. That's a very smick looking setup you have there, you obviously know how to grow weed, you ask a question about defoliation, but you have right before you the sort of ready made testing environment that looks designed to specifically test the effects and results of defoliating.

What I'm puzzled about is why you are not taking this golden opportunity to find out the answers yourself and then enlighten us on this board as to the effect. You could for example choose one plant and defoliate it to within and inch of her life, plants that healthy can take it. Then you will have your own empirical data. As long as you have the humidity and air circulation under control.
