New Grower first time auto flower dwc grow journal

This is my first grow journal . But i am some what of a inbetween noob and some experience in growing . I have had about 6 good grows over a period of 2 yrs . But its my first dwc autoflower grow i tried a photo strain Afghan kush from wos company but dnt go so good so now im giving it another go . So wish me luck !!


Ok my equipment i have 2 mars hydro leds and a 135 watt ufo . Growing mostly in fox farms using fox farms nutes . 4x2x5 grow tent

I was wondering when to give autoflower seedlings nutes in dwc plz help

Hi Shedirt, welcome to AFN. If you have not already stopped by introduction how about posting there and introduce yourself. The will get you badged up. I am not a hydro grower but I believe you need to start dilute nutes early on. I am sure a hydro expert will stop by and help you get going.
What nutes do you plant to use?
Do you have a pH and EC meter?

Hey thanks dude !! Ya i have a ph and tds meter to tell what the ppm is. I dont hv a ec meter but im thinking i need one to be safe. I have the GH 3 part nutrients micro,grow,and bloom . I also hv the whole fox farm line of nutes for soil and hydro also . My ph is 5.8 and im at 250 ppm my water is 164 ppm and 7.4 ph from tap

You should be fine with the TDS meter. They are both measuring the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution just different scales

Thanks i posted in the intro forum , and i posted in the hydro section . Im just waiting on some one with experience in dwc to chime in help out . Hopefully the will i guess i just have to be patient , but thanks for the help so far

I gt an Opium and Delahaze seed going . They been on 12/12 for about a week im trying to learn how to upload pics. The first pic is the delahaze . The second is the Opium plant

And this is the Heavy Weight fast and vast auto flower in dwc , im starting to gt yellow tips . So i was guessing they are hungry . My ph is a constant 5.8 my plm was at 245 ppm it went down to 241 ppm . So im guessing she was eating , so when the water level gt lower i added more nutes in a gallon container . And it brought the ppm up to 300 ppm and 5.7 ph .

I checked ph and ppm later that day and it was 5.8 ph and 295 ppm so im guessing im headed in the right direction . My plant is only 9 days old i dnt no if that is to high of ppm or what . Tent temps are 75 degrees and water temp is in the high 60s

Any body feel free to let me now if im goibg the right way

Well today is day 11 and the heavy weight fast and vast seems to be doing better ph stays pretty much the same at 5.8 and the ppm is at 320ppm now and that has pretty much stayed the same to over a couple of days . So im guessing thats were she wants to b for now .

I will take some pics as soon as lights on . She has gotten a litte greener since i added more ppm from 250 ppm to 325 ppm so i guess im on the right track and finally has a tap root in the rez so im excited about that !!

This is my first DWC grow with Crop King seeds. I decided to try Jack Herer auto. I use general hydroponics flora series at about half rate for the first couple feedings . I was growing in a closet 1 planet time. I was growing in a closet 1 plant at a time until I purchased a 4 by 8 by 6 grow tent And 2 - 600 watt switchable dimmable HID lights . While I was growing in the closet I used 1 300 watt LED and about 800 watts worth of CFLs. had really good luck with them. My average yield was about 2-3 ounces per plant. I am now at we 8 and she's loving the new Grow tent and the Lights. It's really starting to flower up and it's going to about a gallon of water a night. Here are some sort of pictures of first 8 weeks. You can plainly see when I switched to the tent. Lollipopped the end of 7 weeks so lower branches could get some light.
