New Grower First plants Clawing and Discoloration day 23

Breath in , Breath out, preferably with a joint in hand. Your plants will be fine as long as you do not kill them with too much love .

Nutrient problems in soil are fairly slow. In fact most corrections will be slow............. New growers have a tendency to move too fast and end up overshooting the goal.:zen:.

Have distilled water on hand to make the foliar spray when the 5:2 comes. And a clean spray bottle. Then 2 hours after the lights come on turn them down to 50% or off if you don't have a dimmer. Wait a couple of minutes for the leaves to cool and then spray the plants good but not drenched. Turn the lights back up/on and you will be good to go

They have been doing okay, and haven’t gotten worse, but there is this spot I am not sure if it’s trichomes or what it’s on the leaf and underside of the leaf , here is two different lightings, is this normal?

Yes that looks normal to me. Fan leaves can have some trichomes or stalks.

thanks for putting my mind at ease, my other leafs don’t have a white stem/vein like that so I was worried it was mold, but it’s like perfectly on the vein so I didn’t think it really looked like mold, and wasn’t sure why it was white lol. The 5:2 will be coming in tomorrow or the next day, I am excited to start applying it, the bud sites are all looking really good and I can see the buds starting to come together with green in the middle of the pistils

Update: 5:2 humic acid/ kelp came in today. Here is the tropical wizards as of now, should I just add the 5:2 and nothing else? The plant in the back isn’t as bad but it’s getting light yellow spots on the leafs too, the leaf curl is still there but I think it is getting better..what do you think guys?

Also you can’t see it but at the bottom there are 2 leafs that are 75% burned/dead looking, should I snip them?

Yes you can snip the lower yellowing leaves. Nothing good happens down there. They don't look that bad tbh. Hit them with the 5-2 and make it part of a schedule going forward.

Thanks man, I was worried the dead looking leafs would rot or something but didn’t wanna stress her, I can just cut with scissors? Do I cut at the base of the leaf or where it connects to the stem?

Help, my power is out due to hurricane and might now be on for a couple days, I can maybe start a generator tomorrow, will my girls be okay? They were 24/0....I’m so worried!

Cut as close to main stem as possible. As far as power being out.. They are auto's and I'm new with auto's, so I don't wanna' tell you 1 way or the other. I don't expect it being a big deal... Try to get them some light, even if you gotta' take it to another room for the daylight hours, maybe run a generator for awhile after the sun goes down.

I have been applying the 5:2, alternating between foliar And soil drench (because of the buds, I was getting spray on them no matter how careful I was, thought it might mold because my humidity has been a little high)

do you still think they look okay, and will make it to the finish? I’m hoping because it smells amazing and is filling out pretty good.

thanks man!
