Grow Room First PC grow: Russian Rocket Fuel (rebooted)

i fed her some maxigrow today at 650ppm with diamond nectar, koolbloom and ph up being the only other additives. since this afternoon, it has drank all of that up and the feed tray is empty. some of the reddish purple stems have gone green again. a good sign that recovery is possible and underway

i will alternate bloom and grow nutes for the next few days. i am pretty sure when i did that flush using the florakleen, i wiped out all the reserve nitrogen in the medium. whoops

lesson learned, dont be rocking florakleen during transition to flower again

They look no better but no worse today. I have her from the top this time to get a runoff reading. I am around 6.5 so, just to be on the safe side mixed up some new nutrients and ph'ed them to about 5.2. runoff after running a little over a liter of that through and the ph was showing at 6.2. Which is a step in the right direction. So, for the next few days i'll monitor my nutrient ph and runoffs a little more closely to make sure my ph is continuing to decline. I think the plant will be fine just not as big of a yield. I am starting to see some trichomes now

i've learned quite a bit so far this grow and i think my next run coming up will be far more smooth sailing

I had a few turn like yours. Your plant still looks good. I've seen worse (in my own tent) Just keep doing what your doing because it looks like your doing everything right to fix the problem. Hang in there and in the end what ever smoke you end up with will be great for sure:toke::peace:

I am still here i am just busy busy busy. So, the majority of the leaves that suffered from chlorosis have fallen off now and the remaining foliage (mostly bracts) have a fairly healthy green to them. The plant will be fine however, i am sure yield will be diminished greatly. I intend on running this pc case one more time before i build my super LED/CFL cabinet. I have decided that in the very short term, I am going to be making some adjustments to my case to maximize the effects i get from my available lighting i have right now. This will entail wiring up some sockets spread out individually and wired into a power strip or device of my making. This is going to let me run slightly bigger cfl curly q's and spread them out to nearly the edges of the case. Which is going to be better because the top of my plant is bent all the way to very end of the case near the fans now. I actually had to trim some leaves off to make it fit. As you can see in the following photos, I may have gone too far with the training lol. When I have some more time, I will be making some more adjustments to that. In doing all of this abuse to the plant yesterday, my fingers were covered in resin for the first time while putting my hands on it. I have also disconnect the top exhaust fan for time being because temps were actually falling below where they should be for a change. Come summer I am not even sure if this current setup will even work due to high temps.

Anyways, pics!

I had to run and drain about a half gallon of solution at about 5 to get the ph down to six from a rising 6.5. i will have to watch closely for the next week.

agree with the next grow being smooth my friend -- they do get easier as you progress and learn from the mistakes

summer heat is where things are going to get difficult -- i would look into ordering some LED if you can afford them bro.

i just ordered mine -- for that summer heat so that should help me growing through

i have a blackstar 240 that i intend to design around for the super cab. =) that and i'll be rigging up some sort of CFL as supplemental as well

on an unrelated note, i found two seeds in a bag of purple dank i picked up recently. i'll have to take a photo of it just to show how prurple it is
