whatever I can get
I've done some research, and I'm about to start some seeds, so before I get past the point of no return, see if y'all had any tips .
I've used Happy Frog and Ocean Forest (mixed with HF) plus I added a some extra perlite, worm castings, mushroom compost
Coco loco is treated like soil for the most part (?) , ph 6.3-6.8, a little calmag ?
anybody have a #1 tip ?

Haven't used Coco Loco, and the website does not list the ingredients. However, if it is just coconut coir, you need to understand that coco is not soil, and if you treat it like soil, you will be asking for difficult problems. Coconut coir is a hydroponic medium, not soil, so everything is different. PH is best at ~6, the coco has to be buffered if it is not already supplied that way (another thing not mentioned on the website), and the nute package has to be compatible with a hydroponic grow. You need to supply everything, coco is inert. It is very tough to make an organic approach work.

There is lots of information on CocoforCannabis.com if you have not already been there.

Good luck getting set up. :pighug:

Yes coco loco is treated as soil ph wise since its been amended. Guy at the hydro shop said it was like happy frog but instead of peat they used coco. I've been growing in coco loco lately and it's been good to me. @jaywillin

I’ve used Coco Loco, So this is a soil with coco in it. It has all the stuff for your seedlings in it for about 3 weeks. You treat it as a soil. It has a lot of good stuff in it including mychroz. Adding worm castings and more perlite will be perfect. It doesn’t need cal/mag since it’s in the soil already(it has dolomite lime and Oyster shells in the loco already). It’s an awesome soil. 6.5-6.8 preferred, if it’s at 6.2 Cal/mg won’t be absorbed and that’s when you’d introduce Cal/mag to your feeding. You should check out Mother Earth Groundswell
