Man that's a lot of frost! I agree with archie, looks like a good week or 2 left, however he's right when to chop depends on preference.

I think a good flush is necessary. Let the plant start to consume herself.

It is tough waiting out the flush but totally worth it!

Hey Jay! Looks like an awful lot of bud on a little plant! You’ll be smoking your own bud in no time! Oooooweeee it’s so close.

You could take her now, but I’m afraid you might be disappointed. Wait a week and see where things are at. FEED HER. Not too much strength, cut back. But I suspect those buds are going to do a lot the next 7 days. The trichomes too. In the end, you want lots of cloudy with a smattering of amber. Now, some don’t mind lots of clear trichomes, they want the buzz. Others like to harvest really late, lots of amber, a real Stoney Stone. All a matter of personal preference, but for your first harvest, why not shoot for the middle ground?

In the meantime, there is the flush question. Only you can decide. Look around, do some research, form your own opinion and formulate your plan. With your lead cola maturing ahead of the others, you might also want to pull a staggered harvest, where you harvest the mature colas and leave the rest to bake for another week or two.

Can't thank you guys enough! I will let her go this final week and keep feeding her big bloom since it's supposedly organic and stop dosing with calmag. She should have enough of those minerals to go one more week.

I can't believe the yield I am getting from just a 2 gallon pot. I will try to get a picture of those lower buds which are now beginning to plump up too. A staggered harvest approach might be in order here.

This has been such a blast! I'm going to probably do another grow late summer into fall. I wan't to try growing an indica dominant auto to pair with the Fugue. Got my eye on the Strawberry Nuggets by Mephisto.

2 trains of thought on flushing...some say dont feed for 2 weeks let the plant eat its leaves.Others say flushing is a myth,we are just flushing the soil not the plant i have tried both and couldnt taste or smell a difference.Now i just swap out the last 2 feeds for a water only,same volumn of water as a normal feed.

I do think there is a large difference. I usually vape my weed and i can taste the difference. I also recently smoked some for the first time in a while and non flushed bud made my chest hurt soooo bad. With the flushed weed, I could snapper a whole bowl in one hit, no pain no cough. I did try switching the next time and same thing. If you want the cleanest bud possible I say flush but i could be wrong so take my opinion for what it is, a beginners anecdotal opinion. Great job brother

if it aint broke dont fix it some even give 48hours of darkness prior to chop.some shock with iced water,some stab the trunk with a breadknife if thats the way you do it keep doing it

Lol you are awesome archie! I noticed a hige difference in trichomes when i put them in 58 degree weather in total darkness. I also used a hole punch and put about 60 holes in my leaves a day before harvest. Its all magic spells in the end without hard evidence But it is known that stress can increase thc or terpines, stress can also hermie or ruin your harvest too.
