Sooo is this prefloweringOh @witchyhour the woes many of us had back in the day, well not me cause i stayed away from the hype, but there were several strains out there that were Simi-auto and straight out non auto at all. There was a big problem when the market started shifting into the Auto world. So many breeders wanted in to the new idea but they were producing less than ideal strains. There were all kinds of issues with the seeds autoing and going into flower. Lots of guys i can remeber had to 12/12 their so called autos.
Your plant is looking good, for just starting this it can be a trick to get the hang of it. Autos are the type of plant that you have to actually grow each time as a majority to this day are still less than homogeneous and you can see several pheno expressions in the same seed pack.
The rule that i use is that typically cannabis can stretch up to 3x its size once it starts to hit flower. The stretch will stop once bud set begins. You will see this in a few ways. One the vertical growth with stop and the crown will form, and two you will see clustering of the caylex's this will indicate flower.
