After a lot of thought i decide to start my first grow.
I got space for a box about 3 feet high 2.5 feet wide and 2 deep. My choise for lights is a 2 feet T5 fluo with 8 bulds total output of 16.000 lumens with 6500K lights for first weeks and then change to 2700K and put also 2 CFL's 150w for flowering period so the lumens would be near 30.000 not bad for 5 square feet space i think.
1 fan about 6" throwing air outside and a 5" bringin air in. Also i would put 2 x 3" near CFL's at flowering period. As a cultivation medium i think i will go with rockwool cause i have a lot of info for that. I would like to fit in that space 6 autoflowers but i am not sure that they aren't grow to tall and get burned by lights. Is there some technic i can use to avoid contact them with light or control their height?
Can i use topping to get them sorter and wider so i dont lose yield ?
Maybe if i use pots around 2 gallons they don't get to tall but they will not yield good enough?

alot in a small area ,or at least it sounds tight.i have pretty much same area and trying to grow 2 auto lr#2 -i plan to tie down so i will need the room for them 6 seems way to many, but what do i know--- a few inches above pots mount a piece of 1by1 wire to tie limbs and top of plant to --as they will grow up into the wire squares
for support and handles to attach limbs it works for me

why dont you just buy a shorter strain just keep off the Mi5 and the Ak47's

Yeah maybe 6 is way to much but 4 seem fair possible. Is topping a solution to height problem ?

maybe its a hot topic as it may effect yield lst (low stress training) is a better idea but if you buy the right strain you could squeeze the 6 in there with little issues and stay at around 2-2.5ft with little issues
