Day 44- gb is doin her thing. Her lil budlets are growing bigger every day.
Shes also getting due for another big haircut, probably gonna be sunday. I have taken a few leaves off every day but she keeps growing new ones, not missing a beat.
I will say this tho, she has been way more sensitive than widow. She gets droopy after i water her, and especially droopy when the lights go out. Widow doesnt give a sh!t, ive not really noticed her droop at all like gb.
She bounces back up and prays but yeah, she likes to get her droop on.
So if you look close you may see some damaged leaves. One of my cats got in the closet a couple days back and rampaged lol. Widow bore the brunt of the attack but gb took some damage as well. They are both fine now i think, seem to be chugging along.

Day 45- gb still kickin. Shes got some stretch left in her. I also did a thing a week and a half ago. I removed most of the stakes and ties and ive let gb just explode up and out. I plan on snippin leaves as needed but no more training for gb.
And on the leaf front, ill be scalping gb tomorrow to open up the lower budsites, gotta let that delish light down into the plant.
On the light front, ill be adding my new hlg qb to the closet next week, another 160w of fantastic light for my babies.
Watering- gb is still on her 3/4 strength mc feed. The last week ive been watering her every day, at least 2 liters and this morning she took a half gallon like it was nothing. Ive managed to not hit any runoff when watering gb and that makes me a happy camper.
Frost- no sign as of yet, which sorta surprises me. Gb is a cross between blueberry kush and gg4, id have thought it would have been frosty by now from the gg4 if nothing else. Eh, we shall see! She does have a pretty smell tho, its a berry smell with a touch of dank.
In the closet the smell is a wave of chronic weed, with the strongest individual scent being the pine from the widow. Seperate the 2 gals tho and its a veritable plethora of nose tickling scents

Edit-she does have the faintest begijnings of frost on some of the newest growth, ill try and get a decent pic later. Yay, go gb!

So heres a crappy comparison pic to show off gb's stretch. Shes grown almost 5 inches in the past week. Big part of that no doubt is the lack of training, as ive let her loose.
Last Saturday she was 12.5" tall, today shes 17"

Day 46- gb is alive! I mean, shes alive and kicking!
So i asked and i received. I noticed the faintest glitter on her budlets/sugar leaves and sure enough, shes got frost!
She also now is full on smelling like blueberries. I gave her her haircut and the smell is everywhere, its glorious. Blueberries with a danky oily smell underneath. My nose wants to have dirty sex with the smell!
Deets- shes 14 inches under the cob today and loving it, temps and rh are spot on. I havent watered her yet today but im going to have to i think, shes light.
This bish is drinking every day. Yesterday it was a half gallon like it was nothing. Gonna give her another half gallon and she how she reacts. May be about time to do a full gallon.
Her feed is still 3/4 strength and ill probably start stepping that back down in the next week or two.
I have been all over checking water ph for gb, and its been good. Last couple days shes been fed at 6.4-6.8, with no complaints.

Got the autopot set up, and im gonna set gb right down in it. Shes in a 2 gallon fabric pot, it fits the tray. Its happening!
So i mixed up 6 gallons mc at 2/3 strength, its in the rez. I did not water gb today so shell be extra thirsty tomorrow when i check my ph again and then turn on the autopot.
Had to rearrange the closet a lil bit and at some point im gonna get a plant dolly to set the rez on.

Day 46- so like a kid at xmas i went ahead and added a couple more gallons to the rez and turned it on.
Deets-8 gallons in the rez, Ph is 6.6, tapwater(250ppm)+ megacrop(650ppm) @ 900ppm
Ill check ph and ppm through this week then probably will put the monitors up, unless gb gives me a reason to be checkin all the time.

Checked in on the girls, gb is still kicking, the autopot is doin its thing. Didnt find a giant 8 gallon puddle in the closet so thats a good thing lol.
So i went ahead and pulled the trigger on more megacrop, and added in sweet candy and the bud explosion. Gonna slowly slowly expand my nute offerings.
Probably gonna try and get in to the dirty water culture club Gonna dump my nutes in the rez and let em do their thing. Or, i may just run mc in the rez, and topfeed the sweet candy and bud explosion when necessary

So i have a feeling i may be going ahead and grabbing another autopot to hook up to the rez. I am so down with this thing.
Checked ph twice today, read between 6.5-6.6 both times. Ill probs check every day for the first week then only check on ph when i add water/nutes.
I kinda like the idea of using the fabric pot instead of the plastic pot. The 2 gallon fabric pot fits in the tray of the autopot pretty well. Ive read that you can cram a 3 gallon fabric pot in there as well.
Heres a thing i have to think about if i do go the multiple autopot/single rez route.....plants on different growth stages and nutes. My initial thought is to just run a really low base of megacrop in the rez, and then top feed or topdress each plant individually as it starts showing me what it needs.
I think i will be getting a nice lil dwc setup for my bday on halloween, but until then i think im gonna enjoy/appreciate this autopot!

Day 50- gb is truckin along, shes still in the ugly awkward beginnings of flowering, still spittin pistils and tryin to stretch.

Well she got an upgrade, i hooked up the new light and shes basking in its beautiful rays! Shes being lit up by a 160w hlg qb, so lovely.

Deets- temps spot on, rh fine. I did add 1 gallon of h20 with a 1/2 strength dose of bud explosion to the rez last night. Ph today has been rock steady at 6.6.

So gb has recovered from the scalping i gave her last weekend and shes about do for a lil touchup this coming weekend. I wont take nearly as many leaves this round, maybe less than 10, just gonna open up the middle of the plant a lil more

Day 52- gb is doing the thing! She doesnt seem quite so stretchy the last couple of days and her budlets are starting thicken up, got some solidness under the pistils.

Gb seems to be enjoying her upgraded digs. She has been on the autopot this last week and seems to be in better shape now than before. She is also under a 160w qb, its running about 80watts today and i will increase it every day as long as gb takes it!
I did turn off the autopot this morning, gonna let gb soak up all the water in the tray and then take her outta the closet for a haircut and photoshoot tomorrow.
Deets- temps and rh in their normal zone. Havent measured distance to lights, ive been using a crappy luxmeter and her canopy is getting 70k lumens(i hope i said that right).
She is still on the first round of res water, mc and now bud explosion, both at approx 50% strength. I stir the res a couple times throughout the day and thats about it. Im done checking ph and ppm this grow, tho i of course will check if gb gives me any reason to.
