New Grower First Grow Newbie! 4X4 RDWC LED CBD

Not sure when you plan on transferring the sprouts but the roots can very quickly start to exit out the bottom of your cube. Be very careful disturbing or breaking the tap root. I usually wait till those first two leaves are out plus 24 hrs. Also going from the cubes to your final medium watch a drastic change in environment. Try to keep them close to same temp and humidity. Little domes help if the room is low RH

I'm not ready to put them into the tent yet as I don't have lights and not sure where the temps are going to sit. The blurple isn't going to do enough to warm the tent I don't think.

Currently 9.2°c and 57%RH AT 9am.

I do have my 45cm fan and a 5 fin oil heater that I could test on the lowest setting and see where it gets me. My thermostat hasn't arrived yet so I can't control it properly.

They will be going into ph soaked Hydroton, in net pots, for RDWC.

Okay so I decided to not be lazy. I've set up the heater, and spaced a few things out, and given her a test run, minus lights.

Sitting 659w so when I add lights should be pretty easy to do the maths around 1000w or 1kwh, meaning I'll probably be paying about $12AUD/DAY!

Hopefully thermostat controller and volume of warmer water will help keep constant temp in the tent, reducing power usage.

Will run a 19/5 schedule as this fits with peak/off peak times.

Get some polystyrene or chipboard under the tent.
That concrete floor will suck the heat out of the tent and chill your water.

Thanks Vlad but quantum board is already on its way :)
I'm hoping the couple of pumps, along with the QB will give enough warmth to mean the thermostat won't be going crazy. Also off peak (lights on) works from 10pm till morning time I.e. the coldest times!

So I just went to check the seedlings again, still stretching like a mofo! The leaves are looking better though.

They have been under the 1000W SUPER CHINESE LED (83W) and I've just moved it even closer - it's now sitting just over 12 inches...

Definitely have to transplant these root cubes deep into the pots...

Sorry about the blurple pics.
