Hey gal,(assuming here) It seems like you have already gotten some awesome advice from two very knowledgeable members. The Cap'n and Wiz are some of the best here at AFN. Will you be needing to control the odor on this grow or is that not a problem? That is something I left out of the ventilation explanation. A carbon filter is used for your exhaust that kills the stinky smell of the buds when they start forming. Just noticed I didn't tell you about that. Later

Hey squid, wizz. U assumed rite I'm a gal is that bad the sheep poop is readily available in my garden but I darsna pik it up. Although my hubby might if he thinks it'll save him money. The smell not a prob I got no neighbours but if all goes well I will start investing in better things and move my hobby room to the loft. So with the nutes wizz I was plannin on spendin on them, cuz I dnt want to deprive the girl of food ( it betta be a girl) . My friends r comin to visit nxt wk from down south n they can get me some frm the grow shop. But what would u recomend I use? I am really scared of messin it up. I think I would cry if anythin went wrong.

Hey Red eye c thanks ill check it out fingers crossed they will deliver. I'm already excited even though its so small. I had friends bk in the city who used to grow but not in soil. They used cuttings though so I never saw it actually start its life before. Its cool I'm impressed.

Hey there. Not a problem at all. Some are readily known by their name to be female and some are incognito until one finds out. Anywho...
Wiz says the sheep poop tea would be good after it sexes, then go with it. Kinda gross but hey. Not sure what other nutes you should get I think that is based on personal opinion and results as I have seen so many successful grows with numerous different lines of nutrients. Foxfarm, General Organics, ADvanced Nutrients, and many more. Good luck and girly vibes sent your way for your plant.

Should have spoke up in my journal. I have a 20 plant photo grow going now on here. At about day 30. Only 1 Auto In the group. A free la diva. One word of advice on the Blue Mystics and most autoflowers in general. Less is more when it
Comes to the nutes. Say you get fox farms grow big
Or bio thrive whatever the nute may be. Do not follow instructions on the bottle. I always and most growers do as well, start with about 25% recommended dosage. If it says 1tbs per gallon only give 1/4 tbs. My best advice for a new grower is do not over water and do not over feed. Plants do not kill themselves growers do. Don't over do it. As long as you have a good base, ph is stable, water when it's dry and go light
On the nutes it will basically grow itself. You see newer growers throw there seed in hot soil it's sprouts sickly and yellow and the first thing they do is give it more nutes and fry it lol. Sending green nd girl karma your way Mandy Cheese.

Hey captain cure and squid, the lights just came on so I popped in to have a look... she is lookin sexy today her two new leaves are really comin on. She's lovely and green too. Wish I cud put some photos on. Just so u cud take a look. I've decided on biobuzz bloom nutes will order them today but wnt be using them yet. Had an email sayin my new ph meter will be here today, so when I get this as its a three in one what levels am I lookin for? Thanks for all the karma it seems to be workin keep it coming please. Wee bit confused now

Hi all well everythings still lookin gud, she doesn't seen to be sad about me planting her in the soil yesterday. I just wanted to ask a little question. I was talkin to a friend earlier 2day. They did a few grows in a tent with hps lights, I dnt know much more than that other than they grew northen and they weren't autos. But anyhow they told me today that I need to start givin the lady something called nitrazyme and to do it sooner rather than later???? What does everyone think? I was plannin on givin her just ph water until time for the bloom nutes?? Help please

Hey mandy. I don't know much about the nitrozyme, although it sounds pretty awesome. There are some boosters and root stimulators that people use I just don't much about them. Unless someone adds in I wouldn't use it just to be safe. Just ph water is best right now I believe. Your using soil so you want your ph a little above 6 so 6.3-6.5. This will allow for maximum nutrient and oxygen uptake. I'm guessing your meter checks ppm and/tds as well, or maybe temperature and ph. Ppm(parts per meter) parts of nutrients and minerals per meter, as far as I know should be zero or super low as you have no nutrients. tds is just another way of measuring that, it means total dissolved solids. first welcome.... I am also very new and have been following your thread as I also just put my lil wee ones in their final home yesterday. I also have a friend who has not done auto's n it seems they are very diff some of the advice he was giving I found to b contradicting what I learned here so I just go with the info spec for autos. It seems all the good folks here say just water for the first 3 weeks but again I am just as new as u . Did ur ph meter get there yet? Let me know how it works I only have one that checks the water not the soil.
I agree with you so much about how cool and exciting it is to watch it come to life. I too do not usually post or write on the internet (gosh even on facebook I am the girl who just pushes the "like" button lol). I have too say I am glad that I am stepping out of my comfort zone cuz I am learning alot and getting to talk to great people.
