Hey folks

I decided too germinated a couple of Mi5 feminized seeds about a week ago, I don't know if it's too early yet, but the seems nice out so i thought i'll just go for it, and this is what they look like now (photo from phone cam soz)

I'm growing in biobizz light mix in 11lt pots, the plants are 3 1/2 inches high, and they're a week old tomorrow, i've been leaving them in greenhouse for about 12 hrs a day over the last three days and they seem too be coping ok.
I'm thinking of leaving them in there over night from tomorrow, the temps will be at highest 13 celcius and 4 celcius at lowest (is this too low?), so any way I don't really know what else too add at the moment, All tips, advice and criticism's are welcome

cheers flim

Looking nice mate.iv had a plant outside since the weekend as my tents being used for drying.shes been out day and night, been rained on and she's doing ok.these autos are tough plants man :smokebuds: just keep your eye on the weather forecast and any signs of frost get them indoors if you can mate

Cheers Red, I think i might put them out tomorrow just to be on the safe side, the weather starting too warm up where I am from tomorrow according to the weatherman. (it will probably snow knowing them)

Haha true mate :crying: yeah the weathers nice,iv had sunshine all day today and the day temps for week look ok mate.clocks go forward at the weekend too so longer days are upon us :D

I see you have sticks holding them up ,that tells me that there not geting enough light.Do they get full sun out in the greenhouse? If you have some lights i would put them under them until the stems get thick enough to hold them up .However you do it they need more light soon.

They're getting about 12 hrs sun a day and bout 8 to 10 hrs direct sun, they do stand on they're own, i just put the sticks there for extra support.
Unfortunately i don't have any lights yet, so I'm at the mercy of the sun.

mi5's LOVE!!! uk greenhouses

My advice to you is, put them in bigger pots. 11L is a bitch to water in a greenhouse especaily when there in full flower and the sun is igh & hot, you can end up watering a couple of times a day. or if you can invest a small amount of money on a blumat auto watering system (its passive so dosnt need power)

Do you have a full size greenhouse or is it just a small plastic one? If you have a full size greenhouse planting directly into the soil is the best option and will drasticaly cut down your waterings, and depending on your soil you might save a bit on feed.

IMO dont move them inside and outside, either leave them in the greenhouse or keep them inside under light untill ther3 on 3-4 internode. have you planted all your Mi5 seeds? if you avnt and you have a indoor light id get the rest going under tat, then plnt them in te greenhouse in 3-4 weeks. and they should grow much bigger then the ones you ave going now (not that they should be small :p )

Thanks for the advice mr.mcgregor, these are the biggest pots I've got, I am getting one of these for my tomato plants would it be any good for autos

And I'm get some 6l airpots soon as well.

I don't have any lights yet, I'm hoping too get some T5's around august (money's tight at the moment) so I'm totally reliant on the sun.

yeah I've got 3 MI5 seeds left, and I'm gonna get some dwarfs for growing outside in a week or two (any recommendations welcome)

I think with that dripper you will find its constantly dripping, with the blumat tropf the drip lines go though a water filled ceramic probe which is planted in your pot, as the soil in the pot drys out it sucks the water in the ceramic probe out causing the diaphram at the top to pull down releasing the pressure on the drip line which will then start dripping, once the pot is watered to the level you set on the probe the ceramic probe will start to suck water back into itself raising the diaphram and cutting the drip line off again.

You can but them in 12 probe kits for about £50, but you can also buy the parts seperatly. if you only have a few plants you wont need 12 probes.

You need....

A tank connector - http://www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/TBC.htm
1/4" main feed tube - http://www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/TBD.htm
1/16" drip line - http://www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/TBI.htm
however many probes you need (you can run 1 probe or hundreds off the same tank) - http://www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/TBM.htm
inline connectors (1 for each probe, then take away one and replace it with ----see below) - http://www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/TBJ.htm
end line connector - http://www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/TBK.htm

I think you could get evrything with a few probes for about £20, but I understand your on a budget and £20 might be to much. however if you spend £10 on that ebay dripper and it dosnt work its going to cost you the price of one that does work + what you lost on the ebay one if it failed to work suficantly.

For your outdoor strains I higly reccomend any of mossys strains Automatic Seed they have all done so well for me outdoors. whats the max hight & width you can grow outdoors? all shortstuff seeds I have grown outdoors (apart from snowryder) have done really well, however they can get big........really big.
