Loweryder 2 and Flash Santa
This is my first grow of an autoflower strain and I havent grown anything else in over 20 years so its been a new experience since the old days. I chose Lowryder2 as it seems to be one of the most stable strains and chose Flash Santa because it is supposed to be pretty easy as well and had a cool description of being a Holy Grail of auto's.
I am growing these in my little grow box I built using the lights I built that I posted in the DIY section.
I planted the seeds in soil and didnt even soak them on Feb 27. I planted 9 Lowryder2 and 2 Flash Santas in hopes of getting a 50/50 mix of male vs female plants. Is that realistic?
4 Plants poked their heads up on March 1 and by March 2 I had 100% Germ rate.
I call this day 1
I am using Humbolt soil and just properly ph's water currently. I am using Eco pots but I dont really like them. They seem to dry the soil out real fast so I have to water a little almost evey day because I dont want to overwater.
My Lights are on 18/6
My soil is currently at Ph 7 and I am watering at ph6.5
Here are some pictures and I will probably update every 3 or 4 days.

Well that is where I at. I do have some weird looking white stuff on a few of the bigger ones that appears to be mineral or hard water stains from misting with a spray bottle. Has anyone else seen that or is it something else??
