New Grower first grow journal!!!!!

The sunlight was hitting my buds just at the right angle for some dope photos. I decided to whip out the micro 105 mm just at the right time! Usually I shoot with a 60mm macro lens to really capture its entirety. I think I will be switching to this 105 from now on for the close ups! They are so frosty! The one above is Bubblecious by Nirvana.

so far, so good annie! *thumbs up*
and you are right, I use Fish mix by Biobizz and the stench is exactly same as fish sauce. they must be made in the same factory :D

i am leaving my plants for couple of days also, and my wife refuses to fertilize too, but not because of the smell, but because "it is complicated..."
I say - Your makeup is complicated ;-P Whats so hard on mixing two basic nutes, with five additives, all of them with different ratio of ml per litre? 8-)
just kidding, she takes care of our two little kids, so I am happy she agreed with watering :)

so keep it up, harvest isnt far away! :vibes:

I'm sure plenty of us go through the same thing when we go on vacations. You can't ask too much out of someone that is unfamiliar with plants. :shrug:Watering is a feat in itself. I mean, most people can barely keep a house plant alive. Makeup is an art too though, and arguably takes as much time and daily maintenance as a garden does. Thats why I don't do my makeup and would have a ridiculous amount of pepper plants to devote my time to instead. Kids however, I would be willing to lose my pepper plants to though. I hope you have fun on your trip! :weed:

Hello Annie,

where are the promised frequent updates?
I guess that you have already harvested some, and now you are busy with testing/tasting the fruits of your labour ;) :D Or not yet?

Anyway we are looking forward to see some of you fine photos / macros.

Well, things sorta hit the fan here and I’ve been trying to work them out. I had some plumbing issues where I was worried the housing management was going to show up and I was going to get evicted because of my plants. This led me to hiding my plants various outdoor locations. Being near the ocean, I get a lot of condensation during night time. I developed some bud rot which throughly freaked me out and I went into damage control mode. I chopped four plants a week early from planned harvest time. Big Devil XL, Sweet Critical, Zkittles, and bubblecious all had to go down. It was only in certain spots (on my main colas) and I was able to remove those spots and pretty much irradiate this Botrytis was with extreme heat, a lot of cutting with rubbing alcohol, and extremely low humidity. I just discovered some on Fantasmo which that plant was not previously infected. I’m quite upset that this happened, but I am going to start new seedlings too. I wasn’t able to take photos because I was really crunched on time recently. Only a few plants look pristine still and I am a little heartbroken to be honest. I plan from now on going with more Sativas that are mold resistant, even tho I dehumidify my little greenhouse during night. If anybody has any recommendations on what my next plan of action should be, I’m open to any suggestions.

Spray with h2o2 and water mixture during ur grows this will help with rot ! Also aloe vera sap mixed with water is good with wounds that lead to rot . Milk is good to mix in as well to prevent p.m.
