Mixed my quasi-organic soil today. Herbies sent me a FREE Sour Diesel. Guess what? An outdoor grow...I'll keep this thread going as this'll be my FIRST TIME SOIL OUTDOOR grow. Why Not? I just think guys like Truu, JAYAR and Wooly would just have...like...continuous threads. El Samurai as well...

No, blood meal would only disqualify it as Vegan. Blood is 100% organic

Couple 'o weeks more...pistil growth has stopped completely and are beginning to turn orange. As far as nitrogen toxicity is concerned...I dunno. She's been greener than any other plant since the second week. I thought it might be the questionable phenotype of the Jock Horror itself...all four plants are completely different. If it was nitrogen, it didn't seem to do her any harm. She sure was a pleasure to watch grow, a very gorgeous plant. As my nutrient schedule was cut back starting today, I'm not going to worry myself. I did, however, push the girls to the limit for the previous two weeks with perfect co2, temp, RH coupled with 'Shooting Powder'. The shooting powder, once added, raised the ppm a bunch and lowered the PH, but MAN, the colas went from scrawny to fat-fatties in those two weeks!

I've also been using 'Drip Clean' every watering since the first flower formed on the first plant. Geez, growing in coco is TOUGH! A lotta work, and couldn't go ANYWHERE overnight for the last 70 days. The plant in the RDWC got fucking HUGE! she'll be at least ten days behind the other three. Thanx fer checkin in!!!

Ditch the Coco, grow organic! No fuzzing, no"flushing", just water and watch! Done right, it can really be that simple!

Pop22 can you jot down or post a link to a soil mix say enough for 4 5gl pots? Please. i want to try on my next round. ill do 4 plants 2 strains. 1 in coco 1 in a organic soil mix from each strain.

If you wanr simple and easy, get a bag of organic potting soil ( avoid MG soil if you can....lol ). Now you could do the whole, buy the ingredients and make a custom mix, or, and I think better for doing a small quantity, is get some Grow More Organic Soil Builder , and Organic Bloom. Grow More sadly, is not easy to find. However, Jobe's is of similar quality. I've used Jobee's Organic fert last sumeer and it worked great in my greenhouse, it feed a 7ft White Wdow ( KC White ). Makes organic growing in small pots and small numbers easy and affordable. Jobe's as about $8-$10 for I believe its a 2 pound bag. If you want a custom mix, go to THE man on organics here, Eyes On Fire, he's forgot more than I'll ever know! :Sharing One:

I've been doing NOTHING but studying organic grows. I got plenny 'o time. Today I mixed a LOCAL ORGANIC soil (no nutes) 20# with about 1/5th coco (gotta love this shit), 1tbsp myco, all the worm castings you can get...up to 30%. Blood meal, as per directions. Bat guano, as per directions, bone meal, as per, (I throw a castnet for all the fish i need, dry 'em on the dock), bone meal...as per, epsom salt 1 1/2 tsp, no more than 1/2 tsp per GAL pot, sweet lime (dolomite)...I added trace amounts...like a TBsp. Tsp azomite. 2 Tsp Humic acid. I added a liberal amount of 'greensand' as well, about 1/2 lb. I've known about this shit for a long time...but I'm just now attempting it for a REAL harvest!

NOW it's 'fish blood meal' to make it an ACTUAL 'organic'. I think. But I'm a drinker...:slaps:
